My experience with Special Education services has been fulfilling over the past three plus years. Starting with the tutor's ability to personalise learning interventions, to their understanding of the child's learning preferences, the journey has been rewarding and has equipped my child with capabilities that never existed. They have fantastic tutors like Ms. Erin who are fully committed to their student's academic and personal growth.

We have been matched with an excellent tutor for our non-verbal son. She has been with him over 3.5 years. My son is always ready to start the session and the tutor is able to redirect and have him focus on the task at hand. My son has matured under skillful teaching approach. It is a joy to see my son always looking forward to his sessions.

Special Education Resource LLC have been instrumental in the progress both my kids have made in school for the past 3 years. I feared that online tutoring would be ineffective after the kids spend an overwhelming amount of time virtually as a result of the pandemic. However, our skilled tutor found a way to ensure the kids are focused and engaged through out the sessions. They look forward to them, and now remind me of their class time because of the structure and consistency that have been established. They were very helpful and took the time to find the right tutor for my son and really work with us on scheduling that could be random for his needs. Tammy was a kind and thoughtful tutor that helped my son really understand Calculus in a way I really couldn't. He always came away from the meetings with a new clarity and happiness

We have been using an online tutor for my son for 2 years. The tutor they matched us with has an excellent background, he is patient with my son's issues, he is flexible about schedule changes and has a great relationsmhip with my son.

When we started our journey with Special Education Resource, our daughter was 2 grades behind in reading/comprehension and 1 grade behind in math. Within 8 months of once a week tutoring with Colleen at Special Ed Resource, our daughter was caught up to her 6th grade peers level in reading and I already got a call from her math teacher telling me that she should be enrolled in the honors math program at her junior high school. Colleen and I were both thrilled to receive that kind of call from the school. I can’t say enough about their commitment and patient diligence towards helping our daughter through those very challenging times. I would recommend their great tutoring program to any parent whose child struggles with reading, vocabulary, or math.

Finding good quality resources for your special needs child is nearly impossible. But let me tell you, this company is the real deal. I started using them for my son a few years ago and they have so many different programs that have helped him tremendously! Tutoring The tutoring service has been life changing! My son went from a kid with few words to a kid who is now in Chinese immersion at school and taking accelerated math classes. We still have him tutoring twice a week and he loves it! Book Club My son struggled with social communication and had very high anxiety when talking to anyone but me and his dad. So we tried the book club that Special Ed Resource offers. If your kid doesn’t quite read yet, that’s okay! When we did book club, my son wasn’t a strong reader yet either. My son joined a weekly group with another kid around his age, and the Special Ed Resource teacher did the reading and facilitated discussion between my son and the other kid to discuss what they heard. This experience, along with the weekly tutoring has really given my son more confidence to talk to people in person too! He will actually greet neighborhood kids when we are on walks! IEP Advocacy About a month ago, I was told by my district that they would be transferring my son to a new school, so I also used Special Ed Resource’s IEP Advocacy service to review his IEP. They helped me come up with new goals and accommodations to request to help with a successful transition next year. This has really helped put my mind at ease about this change. This is truly a one of a kind company. They have so much passion for the people they serve. I am SO glad I found them.
