i do not recommend this school, this place is horrible, its like a prison for students to do there education but they do not even learn anything new, the teachers are not trained to teach students with EHCP plans, as i am a student at this school i know exactly how it is. please avoid sending your kids to this school at all costs it is the worst school i have ever been to and i have been to a few. just please DO NOT send your kids here, for your kids own well being.

also the doors i understand the main door being locked to avoid people leaving the school and random people walking in but having the classrooms and doors locked all the time it is just unconscionable, Students should be allowed to walk to their classrooms without having a teacher to unlock a hallway door for them. the students should either have keycards for the doors or no locked doors everyone at this school is old enough to be trusted with opening a door but they treat the students like very young children.

there is also lots of students at this school so having locked doors is just a big problem. do not send your kids here unless you hate them

Avoid This School for Children with Additional Needs

As a former student, I strongly advise against sending your child to this school if they have additional needs. The environment is more akin to a prison, with locked doors and fortified facilities resembling a jail.

Education here is virtually nonexistent. Students receive nothing but free, downloaded worksheets and an iPad. If you want your child to end up in an unfulfilling job with limited prospects, then this might be the place for them.

Despite the school's attempts to present itself as exceptional on paper, it is far from it in reality. It has failed me and many of my friends. The majority of staff and teachers are hired through agencies and lack the necessary training to care for children with EHCPs. Many are unqualified to teach and manage the specific needs of their students. Several headteachers have left because they couldn't handle the school's issues.

There have been numerous incidents of students being assaulted by peers, and the police have been called frequently to handle issues related to special needs students. The fact that this school remains operational is baffling.

If you care about your child's well-being and future, do not send them to this school.

P.S. Avoid Springbrook Upper School at all costs.
