A nice quiet Church, like it was really quiet and my entire time spent in there I saw absolutely no one inside, but the doors were open which allowed you inside and look around.
It is nicely decorative and a really calm place during my visit.

It's no wonder that churches are losing attendees... when you're in a bad place and all you want is reassuring... Then get told we have something on...

I have been extremely lucky to have been given permission to take photos in this very old and very well presented church. As soon as you walk into the church it is breathtaking.

We were delighted to find this quiet church open. This Georgian building has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. Apparently, it was built upon the site of the oldest place of worship in Carlisle. It is well worth a visit and is close to the Cathedral.

I was enchanted by this beautiful church hidden away down a narrow lane behind the shopping area. Not spectacular from the outside but once inside it had a profound effect on me. I sat in awe and took in the ambience of the clear, ,bright and simple interior. Of all the many churches and cathedrals that I have visited I would put this one near the top of the list.. So glad to have found this gem on a brief journey through Carlisle, I look forward to returning and finding peace there again.

A lovely church in the city centre of Carlisle. When I visited the church was open and you could look around the inside. Lovely church with some stained glass and plaques dedicated to various people. Well worth a visit if you are in the city centre and have some time to spare.

Beautiful church. If at all possible I attend holy communion. Considering our vicar works extremely long hours with two churches to run aswell as his other his other multiple responsibilities he is a gentlemen who never fails to greet you with a smile.

A small hidden special of Carlisle's, this church is regularly the host of the Carlisle music festival. The building is beautiful and is tucked away in a tiny corner behind the large commercial shops of the town centre.
A true local gem.
