I had a 3 day first Aid course in St John Ambulance department in Kidlington. The course was lead by a very skilled lady named Claire and assisted by another lady named Karen. The course was brilliant, not boring, the way Claire teach is great - by a lot of fun activities and practise.

Done the retraining course last week in Kidlington with the cousre trainer Ian. The training was excellent, well put together, thorough and very well taught and easy to pick up. Our trainer Ian was very good,polite,professional and explained things very thoroughly and practically enabling us to learn easliy and correctly,he also taught the importance of care and dignity to the casualty which was excellent and defiantly applies.After doing this course which was the 5th retraining course I've done this was the best so far. The Kidlington training centre was excellent, the course was excellent and our trainer for the course Ian was excellent and he enabled everyone that passed to go on confidently back to their workplace as a 1st aider. Would definitely recommend.

Had an awful experience,with a god awful trainer. Even wrote a complaint to the company about their teaching practices this place has! They enjoy singling people out in front of the groups like you're five years old if you get any questions wrong and this has happened on more than one occasion. St Johns should be an enjoyable learning experience not being treated or being singled out just because you don't like that person or have an issue with that person! This does not include all of St.Johns courses, just kidlington and some of its trainers.My advice is to look for an alternative location for training and for overall better experience. Just for the record, i passed some where else 😉
