There’s a surprisingly large nature reserve here! Drive down the lane, park for free beside the offices and barns (used for events) and enjoy a wonderful, wild wander with some incredible views over Huddersfield! The staff were very welcoming and encouraged me to really explore the site. A hidden gem! πŸŒΏπŸ¦‹πŸ

Lovely place to go for a short walk. Take in the views and spot lots of insects and flowers. Great family workshops (not during covid period) at various times of the year.

My toddler and I came for the creepy crawly trail & pumpkin Picking event. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The lady I spoke to suggested that the nature tots session would probably be better for my little one and I was grateful for the suggestion! We had a really nice time and got some amazing pumpkins to take home too. Thank you.

This is a lovely peaceful place to visit with breathtaking views whilst standing in the small fruit orchard overlooking the vegetable gardens. It also has a herb garden and pond. There's a good nature trail too if your feeling energetic!
