Liked: Really close to the lake. Clean facilities. Really close to the Golden Lion pub.

Disliked: Some of the pitches are quite small if, like us, you have a campervan and awning.

Liked: I loved how thought out the pitches were. There is the pitch for your tent with clearly marked signs, then a separate spot for the car, which was helpful, not having to worry about having room to park next to our tent. Electric points were in good reach of the pitch as well as the water supply. The facilities were well maintained and I liked that they were coded so that they were purely for camping guests (although after a week, I’d had enough of having to put a code in to have a wee haha not a complaint though!)
I really liked that the facilities had everything in one room - toilet, sink & shower all in 1 cubicle like a wet room - made it so much easier. They are self contained and whilst we were there, they were always clean.
Good facilities with the washing machine (£4), freezer and plenty of washing up spaces so you were never waiting.
The guys in the reception were super friendly, polite and helpful and generally, we had a good feel about the place.
The camp site is great central location to get to many different places in Cornwall, which we loved.

Disliked: Being really picky because we’ve had a great week, but depending what pitch you’re on, it’s a bit of a walk to the toilet/showers due to the fence.
It also took us a while to figure out where the bins were, which was also a bit of a walk. Again, being incredibly picky.
There was also no WiFi. First world problems I know, but signal was extremely limited so it would have been a nice added extra.

Liked: We loved staying at Stithians lake campsite.
We had a fantastic view of the lake from our camper van pitch and all the facilities were very close to us.
The showers and toilets were spotless.
Also the cafe is a lovely place to go and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was very quiet at night.
Also a great pub only 2 minutes walk from the site.
My partner had a wing foiling lesson with Finn who was a great, enthusiastic and patient instructor.
We will definitely stay again.

Disliked: We had to go home 😂

Liked: Perfect lake side location, surrounded by fantastic views. The pitch size was very spacious and it campsite had very clean and private showering facilities. The coffee shop on site had a range of breakfast options and baked goods. There is also a fantastic pub a few minutes away. We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend.

We had a great time with Nancy doing the e-foiling today. Great instructor. Lake was lovely and clean with plenty of space. Parking is included with the lesson. They just write your reg down on arrival, which is not clear when you park up. The cafe does a good egg sarnie too.

Liked: Great location and the pitch sizes are very generous with ample parking next to the pitch.
Electric hook up.
Facilities are great and well maintained.
Local Pub at camp entrance and a cafe on site.

We had an amazing 3 hrs at Stithians last week! We switched to E-foiling as there was insufficient wind for Wing Surfing that we had originally booked. Nancy was awesome and both my kids (12 & 15) were properly up within about 2.5 hrs having an amazing time! Matt and the others were all super friendly, the place was well run and just brilliant! Cannot recommend enough!

This place is truly excellent and as a result we have been here 4 years in a row. Matt and his team can't do enough for us: their watersports centre is always run with professional enthusiasm, their campsite and facilities are always clean, and their cafe serves great food. We always have a great time, would highly recommend.
