We had a wonderful archery lesson today with Amy at the tarn. The setting is beautiful and Amy was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had a mix of ages (all novices) in our group and she was wonderful with all! A very skilled and enthusiastic teacher !

Had an amazing experience with Talkin adventures. Booked raft building for a large group of adults and we all had such a fun time. The team were fabulous, were on hand for guidance and planned some great games for us and then they provided an amazing video at the end. Can't recommend them enough!!!

We had a fabulous time yesterday at Talkin Tarn. Our instructor was Amy who made us feel comfortable and welcome from the word go. She was informative and made sure we were all enjoying ourselves throughout the session. We had a young child with us and Amy put her at ease 😊 thank you Amy, we will be back in the near future 🛶🛶

Had a fantastic time Paddle Boarding, with Amy being the perfect instructor! It was so much fun and as a beginner(me) and relative beginner (Diane), we were both standing up on the boards and scooting across the tarn after a very short while.
Would thoroughly recommend giving it a go.
Thanks "Talkin Adventures" and Amy for a wonderful experience.

Just had an archery lesson with Talking Adventures at Talkin Tarn with my wife. We both absolutely enjoyed every minute, our tutor was Amy who was brilliant, funny, witty but most of all very professional. Thank you for a great afternoon you, we will definitely be back!

Darren makes a big effort to help families have a fun day offering a range of activities. Some are Saturday and Sunday only but we had a great mid-week archery session with Emma who gave us 1st class tuition. Highly recommend.

We had booked the 90 minute canoe session with an instructor and had a fabulous time. Amy got us all settled and went through the basics before leading us round the Tarn with plenty of games and fun along the way. Would definitely recommend it for family groups like ours (4 adults, 2 primary aged children)

Having been interested in taking up paddle boarding for a while the husband and I figured it made sense to have a lesson first so we recently headed to Talkin Tarn for our first attempt at SUP.
We were greeted by Jonny (our instructor) who made us, and the rest of the group (max 6 people), feel welcome and at ease as he ran through the safety aspects and explained the equipment etc.
Out on the water Jonny taught us the basics of SUP making sure that everyone was able to do each stage before moving on to the next and we were quickly up on our feet and paddling like pro's (maybe a slight exaggeration there)!
We all fell in the water at some point which, was good as it allowed us to practice getting back on the board and Jonny was quickly by your board to help and advise on the best techniques for doing so.
Overall Jonny was knowledgeable and patient, making sure that the whole group had a fun experience in a safe manner. The other staff members we met that day were equally as friendly and helpful too.
We had a great time and now feel so much more confident in our ability to stay safe when we head out on our own SUP adventures.
I highly recommend Talkin Adventures to anyone looking to try SUP!
