The bowling is really good and reasonably priced.
We went with four generations of our family and had a great time, however you only get exactly 1 hour of bowling and it’s such a shame because it does not allow you to finish your game if you have four people or more on a lane.
You do get your score at the end, but it would be better if you could at least finish off the game before it shuts down.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this cafe. I ordered a pizza, but it took over 30 minutes to arrive, despite repeated inquiries and assurances that it would be ready in five minutes. When the pizza finally arrived, it was overheated. To make matters worse, the staff didn't even apologize for the mistake.

When I asked them to remake the pizza, they initially agreed but then claimed they were too busy with a party to fulfill my request. Instead, they offered a refund. However, the process of getting the refund was slow and frustrating, involving a long wait to speak with a manager. Ultimately, I had to leave before the issue was fully resolved because my parking had expired.

What made the situation even more distressing was that my kids were hungry and waiting for food. I explained to the staff that they were in the swimming pool area, waiting to be fed, but the staff showed no concern or empathy. They seemed completely indifferent to our situation.

Furthermore, the customer service I received was not only rude but also racist. I was treated with disrespect and disdain, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant.

The lack of accountability, empathy, and efficiency from the staff, combined with the racist behavior, makes me hesitant to recommend this cafe to anyone. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues, provide better training to their staff, and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

I went thinking it would be a lovely relaxing experience as per name "wellness centre". I can see it would work for a lot of people but just not suitable for me unfortunately. I thought there was a separate cafe but it's just tables in the main foyer, where there are very bright lights, drafts from the door opening and closing (and smoke coming in from people smoking outside), and a lot of noise. When I was there it was children's swim time so there were a lot of kids having a great time, which of course made a lot more noise, so if you have sensory needs around sound avoid it at that time. There was a different cafe area but that was in the bowling alley section so again music, and the loud sounds of bowling. There wasn't anywhere at all that was quiet and calm, and I had gone for a class but went early so I could sit and read and relax somewhere. I clearly misinterpreted the pictures and info on the website. The place ultimately is just a sports centre, which is fine. It's just for me as someone with sensory and social additional needs, it is a totally unsuitable environment. It was really distressing and I had to leave and go and find somewhere quiet and dark to regulate.

My eldest child (preschooler) was booked into and attended 1 "beginner" swimming lesson

They advised a parent wasn't needed to be in the water for even the first lesson, and we were to spectate. I trusted this, as "they know what they're doing"

Well the ratio of young children to 1 adult, was a huge cause for concern, and unfortunately after the lesson we ended up in A&E, secondary drowning. Fortunately, my boy was ok.

I expressed my concerns to the centre, in hopes they'd rethink their beginner class sizes, as I would hate to think another child ends up in A&E, or worse. And the response was disappointing, no empathy or acknowledgement whatsoever, and told we could still attend the upcoming lesson should we wish as no refunds were to be paid.

Good for the thermal spa as it is fairly new. Can get busy at peak times. Kept very clean. The gym I would say is for people looking to keep fit not get strong as it lacks a few necessary machines.

All in one. You want to take your family out to bowling or play area but need to squeeze a gym session or sauna/steam room? Then this is the place for you. Honestly great staff and amenities. Cheap parking. Massive shopping fort near it. 2min drive or 7min walk. All of sorts of shopping including a Nando’s! But great location as well. Just off the motorway.

I’m not normally the kind of person to do this… but…

Today, a Saturday in January, I took my two kids to the soft play here. Before leaving I had checked the website to see the sessions and we were aiming to get there for the half 11 to half 1 slot. It’s 45mins for us as I was using public transport. We arrived around 20 past 11 only to be told we couldn’t use the soft play because there was a party and it was at capacity until 4pm. It’d be pretty harsh to give a 1 star review for that, and I’m not. The reason for the 1 star is the attitude of the person working on reception. She was very condescending, implying I was a fool for thinking that they would have space in the winter. And in a customer facing role I really don’t think the phrase “it is what it is” should be used on potential customers (particularly those with two upset children in tow) I’ve been here before for a kids party and was told it can’t be booked out so was surprised to hear that had changed. I considered staying for bowling but honestly the attitude of the staff member left such a sour taste that I left and won’t be back.
