I just wanted to share my experience with the Dental Academy. I was treated by DR. Ryan major, and as someone who gets pretty nervous about the dentist, I really appreciated how comfortable he made me feel. He was friendly, explained everything in a way that made sense, and made sure I was ok throughout the whole process. Faye, the dental nurse, was great to -she worked with Ryan on most of my visits and was always so kind and supportive. The whole team was lovely. The reception staff made me feel so welcome and nothing was ever to much trouble for them. They all went out of their way to make everything as easy as possible for me. I used to be really self conscious about my teeth and rarely smiled but now I feel so confident, my teeth are stain free and I couldn’t be happier with them! I honestly couldn’t recommend the Dental Academy enough!

I wanted to wait a bit before I left any review, it's only fair!

I have been an NHS patient all of my life and like everyone else I struggled to get an appointment, I am ashamed to say that I let my teeth get in a pretty bad state.

I was researching private care, I know I would need to consider the cost, but it was something that I thought I could not compromise on and I needed to finally start taking care of my teeth and gums.

I chose the Dental academy based on the services they can provide and the location, it was really easy to register and to make my first appointment, the lady on the phone was lovely and I had an appointment within the week.

I'm not usually a nervous patient, however I was extremely ashamed and embarrassed of my teeth, I walked into the waiting area and was met with a waiting room that I have never experienced before, it was warm and welcoming and furnished with Alice and Wonderland trinkets (Lewis Carroll was born near there) it was a lovely touch and felt very luxurious, I have to admit I felt like an imposter! but I was soon at ease as the staff make you so welcome.

I was so lucky to have been given Ryan as my dentist, I sat down and I couldn't help my feelings and I cried... he and Libby were absolutely amazing, he did my check and spent time with me explaining every detail of my treatment plan, he has such a gentle kind manner and put me at ease straight away, he made a plan gave me the breakdown of the payment and said we will go at my pace, And Libby reassured me again when taking me back the the reception.

I have also had a hygiene appointment with Hayley  with the help of Faye, both were extremely friendly. I even made a comment that at the age of 37 I have only just learned how to properly brush my teeth... they were so reassuring and kind and I could tell Hayley cared very much about the work she does, I have already booked another appointment with her in a few months that I'm actually looking forward to!!

The appointment I have been dreading the most is the implant appointment with Kevin, I just hoped there was a solution to my problem and have to say it has given me many sleepless nights...

Straight away he was so kind and totally reassured me, the relief I felt at the end of it was overwhelming, that he has multiple options for me. I can't tell you how much this has affected me physically and mentally, and to finally have a plan had made me extremely happy and grateful for another chance of keeping my teeth!!

If you have read this far and you are still considering going with The Dental Academy I would strongly urge you to give them a try, no matter your budget, it's hands down the best gift I have ever given myself and the price is 100% worth it, you are worth it!! and I am so incredibly happy that I made that first phone call. Thank you!!

came here for a second opinion on my teeth as i had been previously told i had no options available .
I am glad i came !!!
Totally felt at ease with the friendly proffesional staff ...the dental surgeon was amazing and explained everything fully in lamens terms so i could follow.
Also came up with 4 or 5 scenarios to have my teeth problems fixed that was previosly advised as not fixable .
Booked in already for 2nd consultation and will never go to another dentist again whilst i live in this area .

A lovely friendly atmosphere. I felt very welcome and cared for from the moment I walked through the door. My treatment was exceptional! I saw Richard for a very thorough examination and then was referred to the Lovely Hayley for a very intensive couple of hygiene sessions. She was lovely and I felt comfortable the whole time, no pain, no discomfort. It's the first time I have felt happy to return for my next appointment. The nurses are very professional and efficient at their jobs, seamless really. You can rely on them for some great support.

Dr Ryan Major and dental nurse Fay were amazing during my treatment. Very calm and friendly environment. I felt in complete control, as everything was done at my pace and each stage of treatment was explained throughout.

having been with my dentist for over 20 years the move was a big one solely due to my dentist retiring in Manchester, my wife recommended the Dental Academy and I was very impressed with my dentist but moreso with my Hygenist who was fantastic and put me at ease as did her support colleague, thank you so much

I only have positive things to say about the Dental Academy. From our initial phone call with receptionist Rachel to our appointment with Ryan. Rachel was very professional, helpful and accommodating. Ryan immediately put my son at ease and made our whole experience worry and stress free.
