We had a nice stay at the Noel Arms, the food was good and the service by all the staff was excellent. Our room was adequate but very thin walls and creaking floors was a problem at night, but to be fair expected in a 14 century hotel. We liked the ability to take our dog into the conservatory for our meals.
The 11.00 check was good too. Chipping Camden is the quintessential Cotswold town worth a visit if you are in the area.

Last minute booking to end a bit of a road trip....2 nights here in a cosy comfortable setting... open fire and log burner in the bar/lounge areas. Old style country bar, nice conservatory restaurant area and popular with the locals. A great full breakfast and buffet in the mornings....food in restaurant delicious....annoyed at missing the curry night on Thursday... cooked by an award winning Indian chef, due to falling asleep after a day exploring the area... ||Room was lovely and ensuite great.... just a bit of worn carpet on the stairs and maybe the corridors need smartening up with decor... ||Staff were great and check in/out easy. ||Bar prices very reasonable.

Nice room, very clean. good meal in the Hotel. Attentive staff. However...the total bill, including the room and Spa costs had a gratuity of 10% added. The receptionist pointed this out on departure, stating that it was discretionary, This is the first time i have seen a gratuity added to room and spa costs. Why not add this to the room pricing at the booking phase?

My husband and I attended this establishment for breakfast 3 days in a row. Arno, on duty, welcomed us warmly, remembered our names and coffee orders and was a joy to speak with. The coffee here is great. The breakfast menu offers a variety of dishes. Next time we will stay here - a couple we spoke with said they had really enjoyed their stay and will be coming back.

Stopped in the Noel Arms twice while in the area for food. Enjoyed their adorable coffee shop area & had a separate sit down dinner. ||The coffee shop was adorable & decorated for the fall season. I had a great oat milks latte & vegan cake slice to go. I noticed they had a sit down dining area & we came back for dinner later on. ||Dinner service: The dining area was busy for dinner service but staff was quick to tend to us. They had a decent selection of British pub fare as well as a selection of their award winning Indian dishes. They also had clearly marked vegan dinners - which is why I came in. I got the vegan sausage & veggie dish. It was alright. The sausage & veggies were on the oily side. (Which caught me sort of off guard but it wasn’t bad!) But in an area that doesn’t have many vegan choices- it was a blessing. I also got their Naan bread with hummus as a side. That was amazing. The Naan was hot, fresh & seasoned so well. The hummus was the winner. So delicious to dip the Naan in.||It was a very quiet & relaxing dinner. Staff was great.

The staff are exceptional in their efforts to make your stay go well. And I want to note the help… more than help… provided by Steve in changing my friend’s flat bicycle tire. She was having some issues getting it done and he fixed it in minutes. Reception, housekeeping, and waitstaff. Excellent. But especial thanks to Steve.

We have been visiting this hotel/inn on and off for over 35 years. We have had many great and memorable times here, as a couple and with family and friends. During all this time we have seen the hotel change ownership many times and alongside this lots of change, some good, some less so. Unfortunately, the hotel now seems to be going through a ‘down’ period. ||Most recently we dropped in for a quick lunch as we were passing. The place was cold throughout the ground floor with no evidence of heating (end of October), the furniture was not just faded, but worn and shabby, the loos were worn and not clean, and overall I would say the place showed all the signs of a lack of investment. Of course post Covid many hospitality businesses are struggling and this seems to be the case here.||On the upside the food was good, albeit only warm and not hot by the time it reached our table.||We didn’t stay on this occasion and so cannot comment on the rooms. ||Unfortunately we will not be returning until we hear that the Noel Arms has benefited from some major investment /new owners, which given our very long connection with the place we very much hope will happen at some point.
