From the initial booking and phone call, Tracey was very personable and helpful. |I stayed in The Loft, a calm and comfortable space, everything needed was there. The place was spotlessly clean, and with a very decent nod to caring for the environment.|A warm welcome, wonderful accommodation set in a delightful landscape - highly recommend.

Very nice well maintained accommodation in a charming and restful setting - The very tastefully converted probably former barn with a blend of traditional and rustic decor that I staying in was both comfortable and charming. It also contained about everything you would need with the exception of your clothes and a toothbrush. I particularly liked the private outdoor seating area with its excellent view along the very attractive valley that the property sits in and the emphasis on caring for the environment. I would be very happy to stay there again.

We just loved our stay at the Loft at Dunkeswell. The place has everything you’ll need, it’s cosy and warm.|Tracey and Martin were great hosts who told us of local attractions and were very welcoming. It’s so cute with little touches of old world England which we loved as we’re Australians. |The comfy bed with linen sheets and alpaca doona to keep us warm was very nice. |It has a bath which I loved and washing machine to wash our clothes.|We will definitely be back here next year.

I’ve been attending courses at The Old Kennels for many years and absolutely love everything about the courses, the location and the tutors. There is always a fantastic variety of courses to choose from and always look forward to my next course, enjoying every minute I am there. Tracey is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble.

My friend and I have just been to The Old Kennels for a Cane Seating workshop, and we both had the most fabulous day. After a warm welcome with good coffee we set off to the workshop, each clutching the items we had brought with us, and at the end of the day the old chair I thought had seen better days was almost restored to its former beauty. Brenda was a superb and patient tutor, Tracy mustered up a delicious lunch with home made breads and sea salted baked potatoes etc plus the dishes we all brought to the feast....sitting round the huge farmhouse table in the sun room we were entertained by the alpacas and various anecdotes from the rest of the students.....we will both be back for more.

An absolutely lovely setting with amazing hosts! The loft was everything you could want and more! The kids had a lovely time being shown around the woods by the owners son and made friends with all the cats! Very relaxing sat outside admiring the view with a glass of wine! We will be back!
