Friendly and Professional riding school. Both myself and my daughters have improved so much since coming here and made some great friends. Brilliant arena and horses, with a super range of lessons and events. We’ve enjoyed some lovely hacks too. Couldn’t recommend enough 🥰

Highly recommend the orchard equestrian collage and centre! My girl has come on leaps and bounds since she has been here we wouldn’t be where we are today without you guys!!! They have all the knowledge and the experience we have learnt so much since being here it is a wonderful welcoming yard and super friendly!! They have so much to offer including all aspects of riding including in the saddle and ground work! You can also furthur your knowledge with them as they offer different courses from beginner to intermediate learning you all the aspects of the horse world! They have super fun days and pony camps which my daughter loves which include learning all aspects of taking care of your horse/pony and exciting lessons which include mounted games,showjumping and dressage which they put on competitions all year round which includes novice riders to learn the confidence! These are super fun! The staff here are so kind and friendly and make you immediately feel welcome! All round a fabulous centre/college to come to! Thankyou again to Jay and rest the team for all you do for us!xxx

We have been coming here for over 4 years after trying a few other yards and just not feeling they were right for my daughters. From their very first day of visiting this yard we have not looked back, my daughter who just liked horses is now a devoted and dedicated equestrian come rain, snow or shine. Credit is 100% due to the team at The Orchard who have been so supportive and welcoming to our family. My daughter has overcome many hurdles over the years with an amazing group of girls cheering her on, there is always someone on hand to help or give encouragement. Instructor’s are patient and informative in every lesson whether it be a private lesson or a group lesson.
The new college courses are an excellent opportunity and my daughter is enjoying learning alongside having fun!
We have loaned Bambi one of the riding school ponies for a while and it is a great way to have the experience of horse ownership without the overall responsibility of it, my daughter’s confidence has improved immensely from doing this!
I would not hesitate to recommend this riding school/college to anyone!

Orchard is an absolutely fantastic riding school, my daughter has progressed so much since starting with David & Jay. She learns lots each week & loves every second of it too. She has a mixture of private and group lessons; the group ones are great because we’ve found that the other riders are always so supportive of each other & they really encourage my daughter. I’m so glad we’ve found Orchard and highly recommend them.

Lovely friendly yard with very knowledge instructors. I came back to riding after a 30 year absence and thoroughly enjoy my lessons. I’ve learnt more since I’ve been riding here than all my other experiences. David is very patient, constructive and teaches and explains aids etc in a totally clear way. Thank you!!!

Highly recommend.. my daughter was riding before she could walk!. We have been at The orchard 4 years now and she’s come on leaps and bounds, we would never look back. It’s not just your typical riding school, there’s no just sitting on a pony going round and round in circles week in week out, the coaches actually teach, they love to see progress and you learn something new everyday. Show jumping is my daughters thing and the Orchard is 100% the place to be for my daughter to follow her dreams. Not only the best riding school, we choose to keep our horse here too. 10/10 for horse care, the horses ALWAYS come 1st.

Amazing riding school and college, instructors really care about your riding and ensuring you are the best possible rider you can be. Supportive and caring team who are always friendly and willing to help. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for riding lessons and also keep my own horse here as I love it so much.

I cannot recommend this place enough, not only has my daughter been having lessons here for a few years and has grown in confidence, she now attends the home Ed groups which are amazing. The owner and the rest of the team go out of their way to welcome and accommodate everyone and their needs. Very friendly atmosphere and value for money
