Been having driving lessons weekly with Laurence, just passed today, he’s a brilliant instructor, always made to feel comfortable and easy to get along with.

Goes through in detail in any mistakes made and improvements, 100% recommend to anyone who wants to start lessons. Definitely an instructor who cares about his job, will miss Saturdays with him

I have been doing lessons with Top Class since February with Lawrence and he was brilliant! Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor very calm and patient and understanding. Best instructor to deal with nervous learners. I got my pass on Tuesday and I was honestly so chuffed considering how nervous I was for the test but Lawrence really helped me through that, he couldn’t be any better for me, would really recommend him to any learner especially nervous learners.

I took manual driving lessons with Lawrence Olaru and passed my driving test the first time around! He was amazing during every single lesson by being calm and patient with his explanations and demonstrations. He took the time to explain every aspect of the lesson in detail and made sure I understood how everything worked. If you want to pass, Lawrence is the person for you. Always made me feel comfortable and at the end of every lesson with him I was more knowledgable than when I got in. Any errors I was making he would sit and go through them so that I could understand where I was going wrong and more importantly how to fix it. He is also a very honest person, when he felt I was ready to pass he gave me a break in lessons so I wasn’t wasting money. I honestly can’t thank him enough.

laurence was so patient and fun to have lessons with!! passed first time after about 6months of lessons, and sure not all lessons were easy but that's just learning. he was patient with me and always made me comfortable. all the best!!x

I had Lawrence Olaru as my driving instructor through Top Class Driving School and I spent about thirty hours with him learning to drive. He is a very good driving instructor, very patient, and I could tell he cared about making sure I passed. I enjoyed my lessons with Lawrence and had fun during them. One time I had to cancel at short notice a lesson we had arranged, and Lawrence was very understanding and cancelled it without charge. Lawrence was also very flexible when my driving test was brought forward, and even with just a few days' notice he let me book out a three hour block with him for the test on the day so we could do a warmup before the test and so I could use his car during it.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to drive!
