Went to enroll with my daughter at the college. She wanted to study T-level in Law and we were talking to the head of the department asking questions about the course. She nearly had a meltdown when she was asked a couple of simple questions. As a parent it was very disappointing to see a grown woman behave in the manner in which she did. These people are there to act as role models and inspire the youth, but from our experience it was far from it. I wouldn't judge the entire college based on the incompetence on a single person but the first impressions were not as expected from an institute that is there to help our youth and encourage them to become good human beings. Hope it was just a one off and not the norm. My daughter chose to enroll elsewhere based on that 5 minute encounter.

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Trafford & Stockport College Group to any upcoming students or parents thereof ❤️

My time at their Timperley compus as a disabled student was outstanding. Previously predicted UEE at a precious institution, I graduated with ABB in my a-levels!

Those grades were a reflection of the dedication, time, and accommodations given to me by each and every staff member. For the first time in education, my physical needs were fully met and I was able to flourish. I have faced untold amounts of ableism in every day life, especially in education and the work place, and their efforts completely changed my life.

Despite struggling with crippling pain and limited mobility, I got great grades, represented the school at functions, sat on the board of governors for a year, and volunteered with the equalities committee. Anything is possible when you are shown empathy and grace.

I graduated from my first choice uni this year 🙂

Only one of the staff was nice, the rest were kind of rude to the parents. We as parents had to stand outside for more than two hours because our children were inside. We couldn't even enter the college even though we came from a long distance. Even the security didn't allow us to stand at the college door.

Awful place, profits take precedence over quality. Hugely overcrowded classrooms, 25+ in rooms which were designed for 15 maximum. Health and safety lacking, no risk assessments done on violent students. No protection for staff / students from violent, aggressive students. No access to risk assessments for Teaching staff. Old tools, equipment and the management are constantly penny pinching. Teaching staff are all great but cannot perform to their potential due to oversubscribed courses and beaurocracy. HR and employee assistance is disgracefully poor. Site is literally falling apart (all the rooves leak when it rains), always like a Sauna (heating seems to be on 24/7). Honestly, there are colleges that are run much better from top to bottom, are properly equipped and do not try to squeeze as many students as possible into one room, I would suggest you only send your kids to this place as a last resort.

Absolutely shocking college. Went on their open evening with my son and was totally ignored throughout the visit and was pushed to the side. NON of their staff was helpful nor were they very informative when asked about the courses- was simply told to take a leaflet about it. Non of them looked interested and somewhat "can't be bothered" attitude.
Really did not see the point in the open evening at all since looking up on their website was more useful and definitely MORE friendlier.
My son made the quickest decision in his life that night, and that was to never attend this college even if he was paid to do so.

Talbot Road campus is the worst place to do a college course. They NEVER answer their phones meaning you can ring over 20 times in a day and still not get through. My child hated their course and have now left it so 5 months wasted. They don't care that the students smoke funny stuff at break/lunch times. Both my child and us parents had had enough. Tutors were just not interested in teaching and an overseas tutor teaching maths was particularly difficult to understand. So glad to have left this useless and rubbish college. A very poorly run college; management needs sacking and replaced.

Appalling college, would not recommend no matter what you have heard. Everything is delayed, none of the staff knew any information about anything so it was a guessing game each day as to when you were meant to be in. Now on A Level results day not being able to celebrate because I still don’t have my grades for my course and information was given out last minute. Very disappointing.
