First visit for us to this B&B. A traditional farmhouse with large comfortable bedrooms and a very welcoming atmosphere. The shower was excellent with nice towels and everything kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. The hosts really make an effort to make your stay very enjoyable. Breakfast is served in the very large farmhouse kitchen and a large choice is available.||Restaurants, café and pubs within 2 miles and the sailing facilities at Mylor are just down the road. Lovely area for walking and Falmouth and Truro are only a short drive away. Highly recommended

We stayed here with a friend for 2 nights and would highly recommend. Both rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. ||Jessica and Tom are very friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble. ||Jessica recommended a lovely walk and kindly provided Wellington’s which came in handy with all the mud! ||Breakfast was lovely and fresh in the Aga. We definitely felt full and comfortable and ready for the day ahead. ||If you are wanting to be near Falmouth this is a good place to stay. ||Thank you Jessica and Tom.

We stayed for my daughters local Wedding. It was perfect, being in an idyllic setting, with lovely hosts who made breakfast so interesting. We sat round the kitchen table and talked to the other guests and to Tom and Jessica Laity.
The bedrooms were so clean and well appointed, (not only tea and nescafe but also filter coffee!!) . Good Power showers. They were large and airy with a couple of armchairs so you could relax properly.
Being a farmhouse, you got the benefits of a half mile drive - no noise, no lights, lots of birds, and a delightful garden to sit in in peace and quiet.
It was the B & B that you always hope to come across, but rarely do.

Wanting to stay in the Flushing area for a couple of days, Trefusis Barton came highly recommended on TA, and we were not disappointed. This is a working farm so don't be surprised if your car needs a visit to a carwash when you leave! We had a warm welcome over tea and biscuits, and our room was very clean and airy, with a bed and mattress that delivered a very pleasant sleep! Breakfast in the farmhouse kitchen with breakfast cooked to order on the Aga, and shared with other guests around the large kitchen table. The breakfast was a delight and caters for a variety of tastes. All in all a great B & B!

A lovely, homely old farmhouse in a wonderfully peaceful spot yet not far at all from Flushing (eat at The Royal Standard) and Falmouth, with some lovely walks around too. Our room was large, warm and comfortable with everything you could want. Breakfasts at the kitchen table were superb, and Jess and Tom wonderful hosts.

We just got back from a brilliant weekend at Trefusis Barton. Feeling very relaxed. ||The local area is so beautiful, the traditional farmhouse is absolutely lovely, and the hosts were fantastic. Very welcoming. We were sad to leave. ||I loved being on a working farm and eating breakfast in a farmhouse kitchen. The beds were also really comfy, so we feel very well rested. |||

We have been staying with Jessica and Tom for a number of years. A nicer and more welcoming couple you could not meet. They make us feel that we are truly staying in a home from home. The B&B is on a working farm so may not be their first priority but you are made to feel that you are. Highly recommended.

I reviewed Trefusis Barton last year and I am delighted to report that it is still as good as ever - Tom and Jessica are super hosts - loved staying there. Good location for exploring Cornwall. We will be returning.
