I applied to the University of East London through Clearing, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The process was smooth, and the support I received was excellent. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and valued.

Extremely Disappointed with University of East London’s Refund Process

I have had an absolutely terrible experience with the University of East London regarding my tuition fees refund. It's been over two months since I requested a refund, and despite repeated attempts to contact them, I have received no communication or update. This kind of negligence is unacceptable for any institution, let alone a university.

I provided all the required details for my refund, but they have shown no urgency in resolving this matter. The lack of professionalism and the total disregard for students' concerns is appalling. I am left stressed and frustrated, waiting for my money with no clear answers.

If you're thinking about studying here, be prepared for awful customer service and a complete lack of support if you ever face issues like this. I would not recommend this university to anyone based on my experience. Avoid if possible!

The worst customer service through admissions and clearing, do not run around going and getting the required documents for this university it will be a waste of your time! they will just move the goal post everytime suiting themselves, there staff make the situation much more stressful by not listening to you very dismissive, they also don’t have a tight knitted community and you will not be remembered, and will be passed on to different people everytime meaning you have to re explain I would genuinely tell anyone that wants to go to this university there is a brilliant university called kings college who will have that family feeling and you will be taken care of. This is apporling service and would advise anyone wanting to go university save yourself the stress of university of east London !it is Based in the ghetto of east London (newham) with some of the worst crime statistics in the whole of London.

If possible, I would give it 0 stars. It's the worst university for international students. They made me an offer asking deposit 60% of tuition fees for the course to issue CAS. The deposit is refundable if the university rejects to issue CAS to sponsor my visa. That's exactly what happened in the beginning of July. Today is mid September, I requested the refund of my deposit so many times but I'm still waiting to get it back now. They just took my money not planning to sponsor my visa from the beginning! !! I've accepted another offer already and received CAS and applied for a visa with another university in London as well. But I need money back!!! Refund my deposit back!!! NEVER ACCEPT OFFER FROM UEL, DO NOT REPEAT MY MISTAKE !!!

One of the best universities in UK and the excellent opportunities for students to develop towards their career. It has a vast and huge library and especially for international students UEL is the best university for their career.
Faculty and lectures are students friendly and very supportive for students and knowledgeable and proficient indebt subject experts. I strongly recommend international students to join UEL
