John delivered the course in great detail. This is my 3rd time taking the first aid course, my first time with Vanguard, and I was not overly looking forward to the day, but John made it much more enjoyable and even taught me some new things I was unaware of. In February 21 (during the lock down period), I completed the 3 day FAW course, held in the Tea Rooms Venue, Liverpool City centre. The Tea rooms proved to be an excellent, spacious, spotlessly clean venue that provided impressive comforts and refreshments throughout the course. The cours tutor (named John, himself an ex-military medic and is evidently a committed, enthusiastic First Aid Trainer), delivered an outstanding course, with a reassuring relaxed approach and impeccable understanding of people's different learning styles. I really enjoyed John's funny interesting stories (all relevant) and very memorable visual aids. I can recommend Vanguard Training without reserve. I will always return to Vanguard to refresh and complete other associated safety training.

I took the Level 3 First Aid course a few days ago thinking it wouldn’t be anything special however, John was informative and kept my limited attention throughout the entire day. I could not recommend this course enough! I not only walked away feeling fully equipped to provide first aid in an emergency situation, I also throughly enjoyed the day as the training was delivered in a calm and friendly manner.
