Called in today to the happy cafe @ vision 25. The coffee/ food was lovely, fresh and reasonably priced.

Accessibility is perfect, flat access throughout, automatic doors, lowered counters, and dietary requirements catered for.

It's a really welcoming new cafe and shop to the high street and by eating/shopping here you are supporting a local charity.

(Also free guest WiFi so a good place for a quick meeting)

As parents of a young adult, who has autism, learning difficulties & a host of associated anxieties and concerns, our fears for his future after full time education were a cause of great worry and stress. When Vision25 started out a few years ago & invited us to take James along, we were delighted. We had no idea, however, that it would lead to where we are now, or that our son would benefit & develop in so many ways.
The caring, supportive atmosphere is palpable when you walk in. I've loved taking friends & family members for a look around & a chat with staff, clients & volunteers; without fail, they leave with a smile on their face and a glow in their hearts. Our son is so happy among the very special friends he has made at Vision25 (we don't go away for breaks aa often as we used to, as he doesn't like to miss a session there!). It has changed ALL our lives.
The young adults are taught new skills & work together to become a positive, heart-warming and determined part of the wider community. Watching them interact with each other and with external groups is genuinely inspiring. The support & friendship among the parents is tremendous & very much appreciated, too. Thank you so much for all you do, Vision25. We love you. 💖😊

We had the pleasure to host a Christmas party event for Vision25 at ‘The Sun Inn’ on the 10th December. What a marvellous day it was for everyone! All the young adults were in the party mood & had a visit from Santa & Mrs Santa. Following a lovely Christmas lunch laid on by the landlord and landlady, Sean & Tracie, presents we’re gifted to all those in attendance. Lots of smiling faces were seen & plenty of hugs from Santa himself. A cheque for £5500 from fundraising was presented on the day which was gratefully received.
This event couldn’t have happened without the help of all staff & friends willing to lend a hand on the day. A huge thank you to everyone for making a lot of people happy. All of Vision25’s young adults went back home with some very memorable stories to tell!

The Sun Inn are very proud to be associated with a local group such as these impeccably behaved young people. Here’s to our next event, hope to see you all soon.

From all at The Sun Inn.

Inspiring, nurturing, caring, happy, safe, positive, determined, ambitious are just a few of the words that can be used to describe what an unbelievably great place Vision 25 is. In it's short life it has changed many family's lives and offered much needed hope for our young adults. I cannot recommended it highly enough, a truly wonderful organisation that will hopefully go from strength to strength.
