Worst place on earth do not go there if you have mental issues they will make it worse they do not care about you never return calls don't listen and are hugely under qualified at dealing with anything other than mild depression it's shocked me how easy it must be to get a psychiatrist degree your better off treating yourself

Waterford House is an extremely supportive and empathetic service. I have been using the service on and off for seven years and at times my condition has been very difficult. All persons I have met have stood by my side giving me the gentle encouragement I need to become well again. I thank you all but especially Katy Charlie and Dr Khan

Generally good, supportive service who are doing their best with the resources they are allowed to use and time they are allowed to give. Zoe, especially, has been amazing.
Think all mental health services in the country are under enormous strain.
I don't think the reviews on here are accurate or fair, or take in to consideration that Waterford House, and all mental health facilities in the UK, have to follow what the government say.

I have not felt as if I was being helped on the road to recovery because the doctor wore a face mask during the entire appointment. As someone with specialised and unique gifts, seeing a person's mouth when they are speaking is vital for communication and understanding.

Bought a rope after a phone call with them feeling more depressed. Italk said it’s too complicated for them to help as the problems are above what they can do and Waterford house don’t want to see me basing their diagnosis off of a short meeting about 8 years ago when it wasn’t as bad. The nhs and mental health teams don’t care about you. I’ll sort myself out, as I always have to without the nhs helping with anything.

I have been referred multipul times to Waterford house and on both occasions I was listened to but didn't feel like they really cared just like others I was binned off to Italk and discharged back to my doctors how is this actually helping when some people need people to talk to ok I also was offered cbt but I've had that before and that made me more depressed so I had to turn it down I really don't feel like they pay attention to how we really feel
