Lovely horses and teachers, shame about their organisational skills. Constantly emailing checking lessons are booked only to turn up and find they are not, even when it had been confirmed. Very difficult just to book a regular weekly lesson at the same time as each week you have to wait for email confirmation every week. Far more difficult than it needs to be and thats why after 2 weeks of being missed off the list we are going elsewhere as its too much disappointment for my daughter. Best advice for this place would be to sort your booking system out.

I had my 1st lesson today with Trudy. She made feel very comfortable, went through all the safety steps prior to starting our lesson. Emma introduced me to the horse -Romeo and had me stand next to him, i also got to pat him and bond alittle prior to my lesson. It was the most enjoyable experience and can't wait to book more lessons with this riding school.

I can’t recommend this riding school enough.
After my niece struggled to find an instructor who gave her confidence and brought her out of herself, we were lucky enough to find Jody.

Jody is absolutely amazing as a person and an instructor.
My Niece has been having lessons with her for approximately 4 months and had her first canter today on her favourite horse Romeo.

We cannot thank Jody enough for her kind, caring and professional approach in lessons with the rider and also the interaction with parents too.

My daughter started riding lessons at LGB a while ago and has absolutely loved it. She has been taught by a variety of qualified and knowledgable instructors over this time.
Everyone here is friendly, welcoming and the ponies are well loved and cared for.

Friendly welcome for a new client. Matching me with a suitable horse to ride was professional. The lesson was pitched to the right level, allowing for the plenty of progression and challenge without it being too arduous. Lots of encouragement from the Instructor taking the lesson. Well done.

Was looking for a nice little yard for my daughter to start riding at after a 4/5 year break. The staff we met were friendly, the horse my daughter rode was suitable and the instructor was amazing! My daughter has social anxiety and depression but was extremely comfortable with her instructor and leader straight away! Will definitely be returning and recommending to others!

I was looking for a friendly riding school where my five year old daughter could start learning to ride. Unlike other riding schools, LGB got back to me straight away, and they have been brilliant with her. I also decided to have some lessons after not riding for almost 22 years, and Lou is an amazing instructor. She is really patient, great at knowing how to develop my skills, and I can be honest with her when I’m not feeling as confident. We both look forward to our weekly lessons, and I have already recommended LGB to friends.
