Go here for the Carnival every year and meet friends that live locally. What a lovely little event with loads for families to do. Not many events like this now. I love the little stalls, bars and music that's on. There are plenty of games and activities to keep the little ones entertained and a few fair rides. It's a good day out, I'd recommend it if you are local. You need tickets so check that before you go. I think you can buy on the gate but worth checking.

Visited for the carnival. Very well organised, friendly atmosphere and great for the kids. I really like the community spirit, including local bands, artists and dancers. We will definitely return!

Copmanthorpe Recreation Centre is an excellent venue for community events like the recent Copmanthorpe Carnival. The day was filled with exciting activities, great music, and delicious food from vendors such as Bubble Land. Their bubble tea and waffles were a crowd favourite. Highly recommend attending events here for a fun and engaging experience!

Came for the Jazz Night for Cop Carnival & our first visit won't be the last. The organising team were all so lovely & friendly. A well stocked bar with lovely staff. Clean facilities & an awesome gig!! What more could you want!? We will be back! Thank you. ?

What a fab first visit. We went for the Snake Davis Jazz Night of Cop Carnival. Lovely friendly people, very clean & pleasant facilities, a great music venue & a fabulous night all round. A great venue & will be keeping an eye out for events there! Thank you Cop Rec Team!

Such a great bar and atmosphere. And the annual carnival is well worth a visit. Sunday evening tends to be quiet. Recently changed hands and seems busier.
