I completed my A2COFC training with Mike at Commercial Drone Training. The whole process was flawless from beginning to end with Mike on hand to offer advice and guidance. Mike is certainly knowledgable about all things aviation related and I now have a greater understanding and grasp of what I need to do in order to fly safely and competently. I would look no further than CDT should I have the need for additional qualifications and/or training. I would also have no hesitation in recommending anybody to use their services.

The course is fantastic, the staff are great and the accommodation is brilliant. The course runs at a reasonable rate, but the instructors insure everyone understands it before moving on. The staff were available before, after and in between lessons which was really helpful. The food at the accommodation is brilliant and the views to go flying at are great too.

I have just completed an A2 Cert .of Comp. on line course with this company.I found the course very straight forward to follow. The course material was very comprehensive and detailed. I have gained an exceptional amount of information to support me as a drone pilot in this category. There were opportunities to go back on lessons that needed further learning. The mock exam was representative of the course material followed and prompted areas where further learning was needed. I was able to book the on -line exam within 24 hours using Zoom. Mike talked me through the process of setting this up using my iPhone as the remote camera. Following the Flight training step by step was very straight forward. An excellent company all round. This is an excellent training organisation which I unreservedly recommend.

Firstly A* communication from Mike.

I was referred to Mike after a failed attempt from another provider. Having learning difficulties can sometimes hinder me when doing E learning however a quick call to Mike settled my nerves entirely.

The training process was relaxed and intuitive allowing me to study around work commitments. On the day I booked my test I felt confident in my ability given my mock test results.

Test day: Mike sets a really relaxed and peaceful tone for the exam and gives you a good overview of the test allowing you to compose yourself before the timer starts.

Following recent drone incidents and the need to separate yourself from the amateurs, I chose to go with Mike and the team at Commercial Drone Training (Aberdeen Course). Had a very enjoyable 3 days ...stayed locally, the course was presented and delivered perfectly. The Ops Manual section was very good as some other instructors do not give such in-depth help with this part. Nice group of people, good environment at Kippie Lodge. Would highly highly recommend to anyone considering.
