I went to Fircroft college with a computer class from London some years ago, and really enjoyed the course. We also played snooker in the games room with our tutor and enjoyed the garden, it was sunny. I went with some other students to the corner store and look around. Birmingham is spacious. The shopping centre is nice. We had fun.

Just when you think another public organisation can’t possibly fail you and cause you more trauma it happens. I recommended this place like no-one’s business & loved every element of it until now. Be warned - if you want to continue going to better yourself, learn lots of things and add to your well-being (like they promote repeatedly) then this isn’t the place for you. They put a time limit on something that can’t be defined by a time limit - time! Very disappointed, newer staff behind the scenes are causing issues for many and their motto “once a Fircrofter, always a Fircrofter” is not as it seems!

I’m currently at fircroft college studying anger management but on the 1st day i come
Here i notice there are horrible people on my course they laugh at me they say nasty comments such as i am terrible at snooker then
I feel upset and dis stressed because i came here to learn about anger management and these people were bullying me.

I have completed 4 PSD courses here, and over time they have gotten better and better. I've really warmed to Jane as a tutor and my group and I look forward to attending. The level 1 courses are great whether you have no qualifications or a masters degree because the questions and tasks really get you to think about your situation and aspirations, but there is a lot of support if you are not great with writing. I appreciate that there is halal options too. There's a few things that could be improved....the course understanding your pace in society is really wishy washy and not much content. I wish they left out fruit in the evenings - the vending machine is broken and dinner is very early, with shops about a 10 min walk away, but not suitable to walk very late at night. Bring pot noodles as there is a kettle in the room, and a laptop as there is no TV. Finally, it was Ramadan during my 4th course, I broke my fast early so as not to miss dinner, but a breakfast pack that does not need to be refrigerated for people fasting to take away the night before would be amazing. You could do a pastry, fruit, and cereal with UHT milk

Enjoyed doing access. No support at the end of the course for me and other students. When handing in assignments late at the very end due to personal reasons or sickness, no support what so ever. I was also told I could resit my English reading exam as I passed my writing after access course. Then being told I have to resit exam elsewhere. No student should be treated like that. I thought fircroft was a great place for support until I experienced this myself. I haven't got a clue where else I can resit my exam. Was not given information about this on how to go about it.

Standards have dropped massively

Don't waste your time and do a online course, especially if have to attend any health appointments. They don't allow it 😂.
