Last Saturday the rude woman working refused to open the toilets for my 5 year old as she was serving another person (which was not urgent). My daughter then had an accident which significantly upset her and we had to take her home. They should not have activities for kids if they have staff that don't know how to relate to young children and understand the challenges of parents with young kids.

the staff is very helpful and patient with children (mine systematically run away, take books don’t put them back…). Although can’t find fault with the staff the facilities aren’t great (no customer toilets, it’s a pity). The PCs could do with an upgrade but of course that’s a matter of funding. The scanning machines to borrow / return books are very efficient.

Used Billericay library for over 30 years. Great for young children with plenty of events to keep them entertained whilst learning. Staff are mostly friendly and always ready to help if assistance is required. Still miss the newspapers and magazines to read, but the pressreader app is a suitable alternative.

A nice little library! Given 3 stars because I paid a pound to order a book in years ago & I've never heard back. Plus I was also interested in learning how to do family tree research but this service is only offered I the mornings & unfortunately I work ? Other than that offers so good services!

Nice Library with many books, they're all sorted in categories, the only thing I found confuising is that if you need to search for a book you have to go through the whole category to find it, quite disappointing, but at least you have all the autors books near each others (or so it seemed).
Very helpful staff members and if you need to register it takes only few minutes; the Library is open every day - exclused sunday - so you don't have to worry about the day you go, many places to seat and also computer to use. I liked it.
