I attended one of The Beauty Academy’s lash courses last weekend, and found it to be a lovely & pleasant experience throughout.

Our trainer was incredibly friendly & informative, and she made us all feel safe & confident enough to ask any questions we had - she was really honest with us too, which helped me understand so much more!

I found the course to be really thorough (covering client consultations, patch tests & contra-indications, lash prep, lash application, aftercare, insurance, equipment & more!), and for someone who had never done lashes before, I left the training centre feeling well-educated & confident?

HIGHLY recommend!

Attended a facial course at The Beauty Academy and it was fantastic! Exceeded all my expectations, I did expect a full classroom course but was so glad it was practical and had lots of hands on experience, I've also recommended the academy to a family member who will be booking soon. Was a great day and I am looking forward to booking further courses. Overall an absolutely amazing day.

An absolutely brilliant training day at the Beauty Academy. We had a wonderful trainer, Katy, she was extremely knowledgeable and made the day really excellent for us. The course was very thorough and has hugely helped build confidence to go off and do treatments on clients.

As a small group of 4, we did the basic facial course which I would highly recommend for getting started. We were allowed to use our own Tropic products, which was really helpful.

Parking was easy to find, nearby and relatively cheap. Toilet facilities at the venue were basic as there was only one ladies toilet. There was a small breakout area which didn’t have enough chairs for the number of students, but we were grateful for the provision of tea and coffee.

Katy answered all of our questions at the end, we would be happy to return to the Beauty Academy for further courses.

Unfortunately my experience at the Manchester academy wasn't great on the Brow Lamination Course. Personally I didn't think the teacher was right for the course and therefore didn't get great learning out of the practical course what I was hoping for. I have left feeling not so confident. I fed this back to the head office who offered me the online course however I paid for a practical course because I learn better through practice so I respectfully declined. If this is the standard for this academy's Brow Lamination Course then I highly recommend against doing it with this academy. Instead find someone who specialises and practices in Brow Laminations specifically. £229 down the drain for me unfortunately.

Honestly I am so over the moon with the level of professionalism, genuinity, love and passion Katy put into my 2 day course for spa body massage. The way that woman knows her stuff, and the amount I learnt in 2 days was shocking. Even at other places where I have done courses, I felt I needed more guidance and teaching. Here at The Beauty Academy, with Katy in particular, I feel like she WANTED to see me go far. Defo booking my lash course with her in particular, even though I have already done a lash course somewhere else, I want to do it over again so that Katy can teach me. Il be much better at them then I feel. Thank you thank you thank you for your hard work and dedication. Need more teachers like her around.
