If you are not sure about studying with Kaplan, don't do it. They promise many things and don't deliver. The families that choose you and also the private accommodations that they offer you, leave a lot to be desired. And it's a thousand times cheaper to go alone and study at another academy. The only good thing they have is their teachers. But their administrative staff is the worst. They seem very nice, but the treatment they finally give you is the worst. I retired early because they disrespected me and I was not the only one. Many enter and do not finish their classes for this same reason.

Unfortunately my experience at Kaplan wasn’t so good.

The classrooms are crowded.
They advertise the course with 12 people, but in the reality is different.

It is very, very bad because it impact and influence directly in the quality of the study.

They are disorganized. This is my feeling.

Another point is the fact the class focus on grammar (by the book)
This methodology not help to develop speaking skills.

I had classes with Emanuelle teacher (he is a very good teacher) but, even though he is a very good teacher, the fact the school are disorganized and the classroom are crowded. it disturb the class.

In the end I consider my experience was not worse because I have a higher Intermediate level and I was able to building ways to learn, make new friends and take advantage of the fact that I lived in Liverpool for some time.

please ! DO NOT BOOK ACCOMMODATION THROUGH KAPLAN! THEY ONLY GIVE YOU THE MOST EXPENSIVE PRICE WITH THE WORST ROOM OPTION!

i thought maybe everything would be easier if i book my accommodation throught kaplan, i should study in liverpool per 4 months, i booked a single room with private wc, the kitchen is shared. the problem is we are 5 people in the flat, and there are only 2 frying pans which one of these has broken handle?

at the begining, i thought the kitchen crockery was provided by the student appartment, but later i discovered that kitchen tools are all provided by kaplan.
excuse me kaplan? we pay higher price to you for a pretty student room, and this is how you treat us.

KAPLAN IS A GOOD ENGLISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL BUT IT IS TRULY INSINCERE AND DECEIT ABOUT ACCOMMODATION QUESTION.
Today I gonna ask them how to change the room, because in my room i have the radiator under my writing desk which is unbearable, you can imagine that the heat air comes down the desk, and above the desk you have all electronic appliances, it also could be dangerous!

I HOPE THEY WILL SOLVE MY REQUEST, AND I WILL WRITE MORE DETAILS ABOUT HOW THINGS DEVELOP.

Hello everyone, I'm thrilled to share that I've successfully resolved my issue with Kaplan Liverpool. Honestly, their staff is incredibly prompt in finding solutions. In less than a week, they efficiently changed my embarrassing situation. Throughout our email exchanges and face-to-face communications, they consistently demonstrated a professional and kind attitude, which gave a lot of confidence in me.

In summary, I'm now satisfied with my accommodation in the student apartment, thanks to both the staff at Kaplan and the team at my accommodation, IQ Great Newton House.

Regarding my studying experience here, I think the student need one more break in the school, because 180 minutes of lessons with only a short 15 minutes break, It's not enough to student to take their rest. After that with regard to K - Study club I think there is some problem in time table organization, why i said this?

let me explain:
in Kaplan those who partecipate in K-Intensive course (21H per week) they can have the opportunity to partecipate ''K-study club ', but the problem is, in these 21H hours we also have the lesson called ''Elective class'' which lessons's time schedule is exactly overlapped with ''K-study club''? you know what I mean? in simple words "2 different lessons are overlapped"

I know that there are also morning ''Elective class'' time schedule, but if the student want to choose both the afternoon Elective class and the ''K-Study club'' what would they do?

I hope, in the future, Kaplan can ameliorate in these aspects. anyway I am very grateful about all the support I received related to my accomodation changing request.

THİNK TWİCE BEFORE CHIISİNG KAPLAN LİVERPOOL LANGUAGE SCHOOLS
I came to Kaplan Liverpool on 5 March for business English. I've had a lot of disappointments here, and I want to share the last one. I'm in the morning group. Today, an official came and said that our class will continue in the afternoon. She stated that if we objected to this situation, we could move to one of the general English classes in the morning group. Frankly, they do not offer any other option and impose this practice on us. 1: I came here to learn business English in the morning group and while I was using my afternoons effectively by studying and going to the library, now I am asked to come to the course in the afternoons and this is imposed on me. 2: When we want to claim our rights, we cannot make any claims. 3: I came here from Turkey through a company called “Global Vision”, they gave me completely incomplete information and when I talked to them today, they said they had nothing to do. 4: I was completely victimized and all my concentration in learning English was destroyed.5 I call out to everyone who knows the value of their money and time. If you are going to choose Kaplan to learn a language, I say think again because there is no quality and respect for people.

Teachers teach students something is easy but the progress test is very difficult, the progress test is more difficult than the Kaplan books, you have to be similar. Most students move up to another lever, but they still don't speak well. The Kaplan doesn’t have speaking exams for that I think students don't improve their speaking skills. However, the teachers and staff are very friendly.

Great school. A great enviroment to learn English with a profesional staff who will help you to find the English course you need, the accommodation you would like to find abroad and the variety of activities you couldn't imagine before. All in a place to enjoy with people of many countries and different cultures in a cosmopolitan city. If you looks for a English experience, Kaplan Liverpool is your place.

The best experience I've never had, Liverpool is an especial city, full of history. The nightlife is crazy and incredible, also in Kaplan Liverpool you will have the best social programmer ever, his name is Luke! ( he is an amazing person) 🙂

Booked onto a very expensive course, then was ill for the last two days of it so couldn't attend. I was promised extra support, then they changed their minds. Now I'm stuck not knowing half the information for the exam.
Staff are unhelpful and unprofessional.
