The nursery has been a second home for my daughter from when she was 7 months old and we were with them for 3.5 years. A great service and personable staff and management. Dedicated and responsible at what they do best - they also take a lot of care to develop and engage children. Its been a pleasure to leave my child whilst we both parents work. Definitely and strongly recommend them!

My son has been going to ELC nursery for 7 months now and his older sister went there for 3 years until she started school. It’s a brilliant nursery with very caring and friendly employees. I’ve always felt comfortable leaving our children there and we’ve never had any problems or concerns at all. They do lovely creative activities with the children which help them with development, but most importantly have lots of FUN! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Very convenient location if you work in the city centre/Spinningfields. The main entrance is at the back of the building on a quiet road so drop off/pick up is easy even when Chapel Street is busy. They regularly share photos of the activities your child has been doing at nursery, and it’s great to see the nursery room decorated with the children’s artwork.

This nursery is lovely, my son has been here since 5 months old and he's become a clever and bubbly little boy. I was a little nervous leaving him due to covid as hes never left my side but the staff have made me feel completely different and I am able to leave him with a big smile on both of our faces. He loves all the girls in his room and the updates I receive via the app tell me everything I need to know.
I would definitely recommend this nursery 100%

I’ve had two children here from the age of 1, one is currently 2 and one is 6. We have great relationships with the staff and can confidently leave our children knowing they’re in an amazing setting. Both children have been happy at ELC and they have lots of fun.

The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Their menu is great for food, and you can see exactly what the children are eating. Although their outdoor area isn’t big they make use of the community areas, going for walks, visiting parks etc.

My daughter has been at ELC for about 9 months now. Before attednkng, she had an incredible nanny from a very early age. I was very nervous about the transition and level of care offered by a nursery compared to one on one care. We live in Spinningfields, so I conducted in depth research of the city centre childcare options.

ELC wasn't the obvious choice compared to the chains in the city centre, but as soon as I met the owners / management I knew it was the right choice.

ELC is family run and it really shows. Whenever there are any issues, they are incredibly proactive to create the best experience for our daughter. She had a hard time adjusting to the eating schedule so they asked what kinds of foods we eat at home in order to incorporate them into the menu.

There were some staff changes with maternity leave which meant her key worker was changed. The first change didn't gel quite as well, so they transitioned to another key worker who now has an even closer relationship with her.

For her settling in session, two of the staff came to our house - which was amazing and really helped her transition. She spends lots of time outdoors and taking walks. This is not the case for the other city centre nurseries.

I love their Tapestry App which allows me to follow her activities and development as well as check in when I'm missing her at work. When we're traveling or doing something interesting at home I upload photos and they work them into her engagements. (Again, not available in the other nurseries.)

ELC recently received a less than ideal Ofstead report which inspired me to write this review. As a parent, I am far less concerned a out procedures and paperwork than surrounding my daughter with a loving and playful environment. She is, after all, only 18 months!

My son went there for about 9months and been very sick all the time. Chest infections, bronquitis etc. The clothes was constantly wet and they was living him to long time like that, thats why was always sick, sometimes the nappies wasnt change, and when you was calling them because the child was sick they just let you know that you still have to pay the day.
He was crying since he see the door and feeling uncorfortable. Once i went to pick him up and he was eating blueroll and nobody care. He was coming back home very hungry and they was telling me that he was eating his food alone (he have autism, never eat alone).
He lost 3kg in total.
Just 2 of the girls was really good but they wanst all the time with him.
Since he change the nursery is a different child. So happy, no sick and no cry. He just want to spend all day there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The app is amazing at easing any settling worries, as it keeps us updated throughout the day. A great range of activities both indoor and outdoor. We are continuously amazed by our son`s progress and the things he learns there on a daily basis. Couldn`t recommend enough.
