An excellent facility built with hands on learning at the forefront of design. I can't speak highly enough of the tutors, they are so helpful and push learners to achieve without being overbearing, they make you want to do it for your own purpose. Gary, Paul & Tony are top drawer and they had a lot of patience and encouragement with my son. The building itself is outstanding and enables learners to gain knowledge and experience in surroundings that resemble real life. Courses available vary from painting & decorating to bricklaying and plastering. I recommend this place if you're not particularly academic minded even more so, it opens up the path to success in life especially to people that may have been made to feel like failures in core subjects at school, everyone learns in different ways and this centre should be replicated all over the UK.

Just finished my Carpentry course...
I totally recommend this college for Carpentry. Duncan and Steve were amazing teachers! (from what I saw the other teachers seem good as well, but I can speak just from the experience I had). They answer all the questions you have and try to help you as much as possible. I am really happy I took this course and it really helped me to learn new skills. If you are committed and really want to learn a trade, that's the best place!

Great Skills Centre, offer the best hands on courses available, Tutors know what they are talking about, you learn more then whats on contents. Give's you amazing ideas of what you can do with these skills in the future, if you want to further your self in the same field or another similar sector.

I loved going to Erdington skills center i learned to do my plastering,brickwork,plumbing,
carpentry & painting and decorating as well and all the teachers r well full u can have a right joke but no messing around

Never done electrics before, really enjoyed every minute and its now Made me in to a sparky.
Iv done plumbing and plastering ,well worth it people...

I went to this college and I really enjoyed it I did 3 courses here I did plastering level 1, painting & decorating level 1 , plumbing level 1 , bricklaying level 1 and I want to do more courses to improve my skills 👌and the tutors now wat they r doing and wat they r talking about and they also help u if u are stuck with ur work keep up the good work
