Manager has a bad attitude problem.
Called before going and was told we could just walk in. Got there and all the doors were shut so we rang the buzzer and a man opened the door for us. As we walked past him he shouted ‘yeah you can go in the park, I usually get asked’. We explained we’d already called and we had no idea who he was so didn’t understand why we had to ask to use the park. He then said loudly to the man sitting by him ‘I’ll open the exit so they can leave aswell’. He’s then followed us out to the park and loudly said to a lady sitting near us with her grandchildren ‘I’m the manager and anyone being rude can leave’.
I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life and he’s clearly got a superiority complex. Needs to fix his attitude- won’t be going there again!

Great place to visit with family. Lots of open space and beer garden. Always have fun days and car boots helping the community. Drinks are very cheap in my opinion

Fantastic evening and show on at the Onward Club this evening @Trixie Lee Official. Outstanding audience interactive comedy along with some amazing singing. One of the best and most hilarious acts I've had the pleasure of seeing. Many thanks have to go to the staff off the Onward club for organising evenings entertainment and hard work keeping the drinks flowing and glasses full. Can't wait for the next show with a brilliant atmosphere 👍👍👍

What an amazing place, we had our Dads wake here, the decor and set up is lovely, the staff went above and behind. The buffet was delicious and all the staff were just so kind and friendly.
The club was recommended to me and I will definitely be going back again and will be recommending the club to others.

I attended a 70th birthday party here a few weeks ago. The room was lovely and there was plenty of space and chairs available. However as the night progressed things changed. The bar was understaffed as a result glasses weren't collected and spirits were being served in pint glasses. The bar staff were unprofessional, rude and unwelcoming. At the end of the evening one of the bar staff started screaming get out or I'll call the police. Upsetting some of the young children and the hosts. It was a terrible affair and unnecessary. Luckily the over 150 guests had had a lovely evening regardless of the staffs behaviour. The hosts as far as I could see left the room in a immaculate condition. I was shocked by their behaviour and as a result I could never recommend the onward club as a venue.
