Our father recently (August 2024) received end-of-life care here and we found the staff competent, caring and helpful. The home is maintained to a high standard and very clean. The food was nutritious and appetising. We are grateful for the way our father was treated with kindness and dignity.

My Dad has been at Chelmunds Court for a few of years. Staff at Chelmunds Court provided expert care during the Covid year. Dad enjoys his activities and I get lots of photos from the staff showing me.
In my experience from reception, chef, care, domestic cleaning/washing, maintenance and general attitude towards visitors Chelmunds Court offer professionalism and a great deal of care for the residents. All staff are a pleasure to see on arrival.

I currently visit Chelmunds on a monthly basis. Wendy and Danny (Activities) and team very welcoming from the moment I arrived on my first visit. Flexible approach. Staff passionate about knowing they're getting things right. Residents with Dementia treated with dignity, individuality and respect. Residents with profound special needs are included in activities. Residents' life stories are kept in mind in the way team interact with people. Staff engage in activity programme, assisting with groups, eg entertainments and music. Lovely, caring atmosphere. Ingenious, cornerless round building gives a cosy feeling to the home on the inside. Lots of places to give individual private time to Residents and visitors.

All staff have been exceptional in looking after my Father-in-law and my late Mother-in-law. Nothing has been too much trouble. Like one big family. We'll done to all.

Lovely on the outside but terrible on the inside and managed poorly.
Staff ending up in tears after shifts as cannot manage the work load as unrealistic.
Residents basic care needs not being met I.e not being showered fed properly and relatives of residents actually witnessing poor standard of care...
In my opinion this establishment should be closed down.

My mother has been at chelmaunds court since dec 2020 and all i can say is that she is happy there and we can see she gets on with all the staff praising them all the time visits have been great staff cant do enough to assist really feel that this is the place for mom
