Worst school ever. Regret the day i put my daughter in this school. She hates it. The school dont contact you about your children. Doesnt matter what happens to them or how they are feeling.
Again no contact from SLT or head teacher. They wont do anything. All they worried about is attendance and making sure they have ready to learn packs. My daughter in yr 7 and shes already had a detention over losing a stupid passport for school.....really? Stupid reasons for detentions. But dont focus on the bullying yeh!

Bullying is taken very lightly at this school! Have phoned several times in regards to a family member being a victim and they just don’t seem to care! Family member has just started year 7 and then you get a girl who wants to be famous going around bullying majority of the year 7’s walking around in gangs in year 9 following little boys and girls to intimidate them! Has to be a sick joke! So many young victims have taken their lives due to being bullied. The school needs to take action before something very bad happens!!!

Staff is working hard to maintain discipline which I like the most. Whenever I approached to get answer if any query regarding my children, response was prompt. Assessments happen frequently.

However, I suggest not to rationalise all the children. Please try to get into bottom of if any student complains about other student. Sometimes, in response to a fake complain, teachers comments/emails/retention can be a big trauma towards the kid who was not actually the culprit.

The school has gone down as far as im concerned, the bullying doesn’t fully get dealt with, they only get talked to, when you request a parent meeting like I did for my child being hit they told me they would, then told my son that they wasn’t going to set one up, since the day he joined this school he has been miserable with things happening everyday, with my son having disabilities and being picked on for that too, he kept quiet until he opened up, he doesn’t trust any staff there to protect him, this school should be re looked at, they’ve done nothing but lie and not protect students who really needed it, the school should close

I am reporting this school I should give a 0 not even a 1 the teachers are bums and the teachers don’t care about the kids I do not recommend to send your child to this school the school does not care about anyone and they are starving ussss help SOS!!!!!

Really regret sending my Daughter here !!!....kids get detention for not getting in to the next lesson in 3mins !!!.... My Daughter say even though they are in a separate building and boys are fighting , 3mins flat or petty teachers give out detentions for a Negative referral....Please don't send your Daughters here !!!

Had the best years of my life here. Sadly that I had to leave the school, I really cherish the funny and happy moments I had here at Hodge Hill College.

An excellent school for education and learning. Gets confusing because there are separate buildings but you will get used to it.
