Clean room, Comfortable and great that you can check out at 12pm. However the staff on reception where very poor and wanted to charge you to check in early although we had received an email to tell us to come to the hotel as our rooms where ready. I parked in the hotel only to be told that there wasn't enough spaces (Definitely was) but because my car was already there I could stay parked. This was the second time visiting, first visited in February and had a great experience. This time though it left a sour taste in our mouth.

We had booked a car parking space, so that was no problem. The reception met us with a friendly greeting. ||Everything was spotless. Restaurant & bar options. Sainsbury’s next door. Adequate gym. ||Getting into town is easy. Plenty of Ubers, plus a park & ride option.

I stayed at the hotel for one night as a member of the Hyatt loyalty program. While I found the room rate to be somewhat less competitive, the hotel's location was a significant advantage, conveniently situated near a Sainsbury supermarket and several coffee shops. I also appreciated the availability of parking in the basement. Overall, my experience was satisfactory; however, I noticed that daily operations seemed to be primarily managed by junior staff. I reported an issue with a bedside lamp that was not functioning and requested a replacement on two occasions, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response.

Hotel room smartly presented and plenty of space in room 3004, which was the largest and most expensive on offer. Extremely good value in comparison with hotels nearer the city centre (less than half the cost) and a super king bed, which is a major plus for us as we wouldn't want a smaller bed that we have at home. Plenty of storage facilities. Good black out curtains. The door by the lifts shuts too loudly, so does need addressing.||Some have remarked on being able to see into the bathroom via the mirror, if sitting on the bed. I don't know if they've changed the glass on the bathroom door recently, but you could only see the faintest outline of a person in the bathroom, so this wouldn't be an issue for anyone.||Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Roof top bar well worth visiting for a drink. Let down a little by the staff cleaning rooms, not in terms of cleaning quality (which was excellent), but not noticing that toilet rolls, milk, tea, sugar etc needed replenishing. I considered knocking my score down to 4 stars as a result, but decided these were relatively minor matters which could easily be addressed.||Good access to the city centre via U1 and U2 bus, with stops near the city centre tourist attractions, the train station, botanical gardens and 3 of the excellent restaurants we dined at which were near the train station.||Eddington is an area still being developed, but has reasonable facilities. Few would want to walk into the city centre I would imagine, but £4 for a rover (multi-trip) ticket on the U (whippet) busses was great value.

Super happy with nearly everything -- decor is tasteful, everything is functional and well-maintained, bed and pillows very comfortable, water pressure in the shower is fantastic, bathroom layout is well thought out (areas to put things!), staff very helpful and friendly, the roof terrace is a fantastic place to chill in warmer weather, really enjoyed the stay! Two small gripes -- a desk would have been helpful, and the daily parking fee is quite steep.

I had a lovely 2-night stay at the Hyatt Centric Cambridge. The hotel was very clean, and the room was well-equipped with amenities such as still water, milk, coffee, tea, a mini fridge, an iron, and an ironing table. A standout feature was the complimentary 24-hour Whippet bus tickets provided on our first day, which made getting around Cambridge easy. The hotel is about 15 minutes by bus from the city centre and conveniently located near a large Sainsbury’s. Another great feature was the in-room entertainment. You can easily broadcast your phone to the TV by connecting to the hotel’s Wi-Fi, allowing you to watch your favourite shows on apps like Netflix seamlessly.The customer service was excellent. When I arrived early to drop off my luggage, they generously offered me a free early check-in at 9:30 AM instead of the usual 3 PM. On my last day, I unfortunately became unwell after brunch at the hotel restaurant. The hotel handled the situation professionally, issuing a full refund for the meal. To further assist, they kindly provided additional bus tickets to help make my journey home more comfortable. Overall, despite this incident, I was very impressed with the hotel’s cleanliness, amenities, and exceptional service. I would still recommend Hyatt Centric Cambridge for a pleasant and well-managed stay.

I booked well in advance and got a good rate of £77 which I thought was very reasonable for what was offered. ||It’s true that it’s far outside of Cambridge, an uber was around £16 from the train station. On the way back into the city the regular bus from a few steps away was only £2 each.||Check in was quick and I was told the room was upgraded to a King Deluxe Courtyard view which was highly appreciated.||The room had a tall ceiling, spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was great and everything was really modern and clean.||There is a Sainsbury’s a few moments away which was really handy to stock up on a few things. We ate in the Astronomer Restaurant, though not cheap, service was great and the food was top notch. ||We decided not to take breakfast, opting for a bit longer in bed and a chance to relax. Didn’t use any other hotel facilities.||Check out was equally quick with really pleasant staff. I’d definitely stay here again when in Cambridge, it was my first time in a Hyatt Centric but it was a modern, trendy and had a lovely bed and covers. ||Location not perfect for us but I’m pretty sure I’d struggle even to get anywhere within the city for the price paid, so good value and we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel in the periphery of the Cambridge. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Great if you have a car to move, although there is a bus service. Great valué for money. It is brand new, with very qualified recepción staff and room services.
