A truly fabulous little place to visit! Stopped in over the Easter half term whilst on holiday in Newquay and we were not disappointed!

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the talks are informative and really showcase all of the animals personalities! I didn’t catch the name of the lady doing the majority of the talks but we followed her round the park to hear about the Raccoons, Lemurs and the Pole Cats and she was absolutely brilliant! She kept both children and adults engaged the entire talk (all whilst navigating some rather cheeky animals, especially a Lemur who kept tapping her on the shoulder to be fed!).

We had the pleasure of watching both flying displays and the owl talk. These were the best I’ve ever seen at any bird sanctuary! You get so close to the birds (Logan’s wings clipped everyone on the head as he flapped by and they literally plonk down on the hay beside you!) and they even allow volunteers to hold the birds (all the children in our group had a turn). An unforgettable experience for our entire group! At each display and talk they showcase different birds so each one is completely different. Each display is 45 minutes and you really don’t want them to end!

Had lunch in the Cafe, food was tasty and fairly priced.

Would happily visit again when we return for our next holiday!

We visited here one rainy Friday afternoon. We knew it was going to rain, so we looked for indoor activities. On site, there are flying demonstrations and talks about local British animals. These take place in the barn. You can see the schedule on their website.
The animals are all outdoors. Fortunately, we'd bought umbrellas. Onsite are owls, pygmy goats, emus, alpacas, meerkats, and ferrets who were all well looked after.
The staff were friendly and informative, providing info about the animals background, plus fun facts about the wildlife.
The highlight was the flying display. We were introduced to two owls in the display we attended. It was a great experience.

There is a cafe onsite with toilet facilities. On their site, there is currently a £2 discount voucher.

Great experience to see a wide range of different owl species. Love how they have different personalities. Also meerkats, foxes, alpacas and lemurs. The meerkats are particularly entertaining. The free owl talks and flights are definitely worth watching. Fully recommended for visitors of all ages.

If i could give ten stars, it might just be right. We had a fantastic day with the owls and staff. The owls put on a superb flying display, and the handler was brilliant. Very caring and knowledgeable about his charges. He gave ample time for the public to get to know the birds without making them work too hard. He was always checking to make sure they were ok. He also gave time for my questions without any sign of impatience, well done.

Really interesting talks throughout the day and you can get close to the owls during a flying display.
Highly recommend the red fox encounter too.
