My daughter has been attending ballet classes for a few months now. I am extremely pleased with her progress and how far she has come. Ms Maisie is an exceptional teacher who has a very calm, nurturing and patient approach. My daughter has created a wonderful bond with Ms Sadia & Ms Maisie, which puts me at ease to know that she is happy.

The ballet sessions are well organised with both children's development and safety in mind. I definitely recommend Grace and Poise Academy.

Whilst the concept is great and my daughter loves her sessions, the communication system is atrocious. The way the company is set up makes any form of communication difficult - email replies are poor, but social media responses direct you to email. It's hard to get a reply. However they send blanket emails to you continuously - lengthy emails which make it difficult to get information in a clear and concise manner.

They encourage you to join the WhatsApp group but no one can comment in it - likely to avoid too many notifications for group members.

During sessions themselves you are encouraged not to ask staff questions and email instead as the next class starts pretty much straight after, so there isn't a chance to have any meaningful face to face conversations and the experience is always rushed. Sometimes the staff at the door aren't able to answer queries if you do manage to ask and again, tell you to email. This makes the experience feel depersonalised and not very positive - as a parent you do want to be able to ask questions and hear about progress.

Prices are steep for what you pay for - a half hour session for "Baby" sessions, which are labelled 2 years - 4 years 11 months, but then you have reception which is 4-5 years. No information about when children can move onto the next stage in terms of ability, and overlap with age groups is so confusing. There isn't a clear curriculum, or if there is, it's hard to know how to access it buried amongst the very long (and tiny font) emails.

They're really understanding with punctuality as parents are late all the time but the staff are patient and let kids in even if you are late. This is likely quite disruptive for them but they really are great with it.

Our session timing was changed automatically with the new academic year on Class4Kids but no clear communication about it so numerous parents were late on the first session back.

New uniform prices are absolute extortion - around £70 for a leotard and cardigan. Emails state this is a competitive price but I disagree. However the new uniforms definitely use a lot more fabric and are beautiful, flowy and planet friendly which lead to the price hike.

Overall the sessions themselves - the teaching, the watching weeks, the absolute enjoyment of the children - all are fantastic. Unfortunately the communication aspect really does lower the experience, the emails are just so long when you just want information clear and concise, and all of this is such a shame as it really is a fabulous concept for the community and taking on client feedback would help improve the customer experience.

This is one of the first and only ballet academy which offers something so unique. Ballet lessons without music - but beautiful nevertheless with the well thought out poetry. My daughter has been with grace & poise since she was 4 years old (she is now 7). I’ve seen such amazing development in her skills and confidence in the past 3 years. May Allah reward Miss Macie and her team for doing such an amazing job. We really value and appreciate all the work that you do ❤️

My daughter loves her sessions. Mrs Maisy and Mrs Celine have been amazing with her. She recently passed her exam and was awarded a certificate and medal. We’ve noticed her become more confident! Definitely recommend

My daughter has been attending at North Finchley since 2.5 years old (now 4) and really enjoys it. The staff are professional and so friendly. I love that she experiences fun things to do around other Muslim women and there’s a nice community feel.

When my daughter started her ballet classes two years ago, I thought this will be a short term thing and we will stop the "next term". But now it seems like there is no end in sight. My daughter absolutely loves her classes and her teachers. We cannot recommend them enough 5-star for sure.
