I have worked on and off for Academics for many years. The staff are outstanding. I have always found them very supportive. As someone who has been a teacher for over 34 years and held both middle and senior leadership roles, I have no reservations in recommending them. The rates of pay are very competitive, they are supportive and they treat their supply teachers as professionals. The biggest star of the organization is Kelly, she is a lovely lady. As an employer, their values are spot on. They are great to work for. If you decide to sign up, ask for Kelly and mention that you heard about them from Roy.

It has been a load of experiences working with Academics in Hull in the United Kingdom. As an international professional teacher, I had some teaching experiences back home but needed an agency that can provide me the opportunity to gather UK experience.

My coming to Academics in Hull in February 2023, was a fulfilment of my desire. You provided a platform upon wish I can build up my teaching experiences even in the western world which was a little bit different from where I am coming from.

I remember my first shift was at Wolfreton school in Hull where I had my first experience in the UK, I was able to be with the children all alone, projected the lessons for them and it was really a nice moment.

Though I have been with an agency before but I had not gained experience all alone, I was always assisting in the class but academics gave me the first hand experience. I am happy to work with you and I believe better days are ahead. I have been transferred to Stoke on Trent as a result of my relocation to the area. I believe I will continue to explore the classroom to be better placed in the schools.

Thank you to Linda who is always there to make shift available with good pay and thank you to Emily who is always there to support. I appreciate you both and I believe things continue to get better. I have referred so many friends who will like to join the agency. Thank you for been there!

I would recommend working for and with Academics, as they are a great company. They truly value their staff.
I have worked for them part time for the past 4 years (with the same child) and I have also done some extra work in a secondary school and in a learning centre. There are many different opportunities and roles available.
They do provide you with work to suit your availability: days and hours and also if you want additional work, you only have to let them know and they will ring you on a morning, to provide urgent cover in schools.
I have a great relationship with my Manager Linda and she rings me now and then, to have a catch up and to make sure that everything is ok.
Academics is the best supply teaching agency that I have ever come across and worked for. There are others out there, (some local and some national) but from my own personal experience, they are not as professional or organised like Academics.

I have worked for Academics as a teaching assistant for a few months now and I have had work every day. I am newly qualified and I have gained so much experience from working with Academics as I am able to work in all year groups from early years to year 6 and also 1-1 with children in many different schools.
