Having not done a course in many years, I took the 2 day Outdoor First Aid course with Jo and thoroughly enjoyed. In the past I used to keep up to date so despite the gap this was at least my 6th course but definitely my favourite.

Jo's excellent teaching methods made it easy for me to stay engaged and interested. The practical activities mixed in with the theory included some simulated environments with role playing, we all had a lot of fun whilst still absorbing the seriousness of the content.

Overall I couldn't recommend the course and the provider highly enough. I genuinely look forwards to doing it again in 3 years time. 🙂 Thank you Jo and Act Fast

The course leader Steve was excellent. We had a lot of hands on experience and the course wasn’t boring. Covered everything we needed to learn in an enjoyable few hours. Thoroughly recommend.

Really enjoyable and well run course. Covered all needed to ensure you feel confident and safe to practice in the outdoors. I highly recommend Jo and her team, they are approachable, very knowledgeable and extremely supportive.

We had Jo this morning at the University of Cumbria for a session regarding outdoor first aid for our Wildlife Media degree.

It was a great time covering crucial elements of first aid both in general and specific scenarios that could happen in the wild. Jo's passion bled through into the session, making it an enjoyable but informative experience.

Repeating the A,B,C,D,E throughout the session when introducing a new element was great at reinforcing our knowledge and left me feeling confident in everything taught despite only being a 4 hour session.

Amazing course! I honestly think everyone should have it, specially schools and enterprises so all the members can be capable of helping with the first aids. The course is fast, creative, interactive and Joanne can explain everything so easily that I found the course also a great fun! Time passed by so quickly! Highly recommended! And much appreciated!!
