Richard Clarke, my experience was not a friendly one, we walked down past the part that said privet Road and kept walking away from it as it was a privet road, then we ended up on the yard through a public foot path, I politely explained to the lady who yelld in my face that we ended up there on accident and asked for help on how to get out, she continued to yell in my face, so no we did not become rude ourselves and yet the lady on the yard continued to yell at us. Not a friendly bunch at all.

Walked through here with my friends after getting lost, there were no signs indicating we were going onto private property through the footpath we went on. We then saw the road and started walking towards it, trying to be quick so that we didn't cause any trouble. We heard a women yelling at us, we thought she would be nice and understanding and let us go to the road we needed to go on, instead she yelled at us to "get off her yard" and sent us back a different way that we weren't familiar with at all. We got lost, nettled and bug bitten. We were 3 young girls lost in a foreign part of Barnsley. It is ridiculous. We did not feel we did anything wrong, and we were willing to leave the property but the way she handled it was so unprofessional and we felt very intimided by how she followed us.

The people on the yard are the friendliest bunch you can meet, the bad reviews are from walkers who clearly ignore the ‘Private Property’ sign on the main gate and are challenged for trespassing, quite often the walkers/cyclists will ignore these challenges or become rude themselves.
What needs to be understood is that horses are lead and can be spooked, and farm plant operate on this yard which to the unfamiliar can be dangerous.
The footpaths are clearly sign posted so please follow them and respect other people’s property.

What a fantastic place, visited recently to look at potential livery, we were warmly greeted by the owner who is an absolutely wonderful character, couldn't wish for a more perfect person to deal with.. Everything is how it is, no smoke and mirrors here, good honest straight to the point people, the yard is very well kept with excellent facilities at hand, the livery offers a full or assisted option which is great if you are on a budget and need your loved horse to have a cared for comfortable clean well maintained safe home.. All the people we came across on the yard were friendly and pleasant, the livery staff were all busying doing their daily chores but still had a smile and hello for you as they pottered about.. As my partner and I plan to spend some further time and visits here I will review again at a later date.. I find first impressions are important and this place gave us a really good warm feel and friendly atmosphere on top of everything you can see.. Kind regards, Chris..

The staff of this farm is very rude, and badly treated me and my friends, we was walking through this farm after being lost for several hours and we got slurs shouted at us and was being badly offended, I am deeply upset about this and I hope they can improve there attitude in the future, no sorry can help this matter!
