This course was well worth the money. I went in with no previous experience or knowledge and finished with the confidence that I could diagnose and repair white goods properly and more importantly, safely.

The facilities are perfect for the course and there is plenty of hands on the equipment to follow up on the theory. The course is very well designed and delivered brilliantly by Graham with plenty of laughs along the way.

Graham also recommends test kits and tools suitable for working in the industry and can point you in the right direction for discounts.

The Course was brilliant. Graham was very professional and a good laugh so we could all take in the knowledge and he ensured we all understood before moving into the next topic.
Graham made learning very easy and all my questions could be answered and I ask slot of questions!

I personally get board very easy but Graham’s way of teaching the course kept me listening and engaged.

Every possible topic was covered and you learn worse case scenarios so you are prepared for work.

I was able to get funding for this Course through my work coach at (DWP) Department of Work and Pensions and my local JobCentre Plus by going through the (LVP) Low Value Procurement Scheme. The funding is available all you need is the information pack from Dixon training which I was sent via email.

I took All of the information pack Providing to me by Dixon training and my work coach applied to the Job centre manager to acquire the funding for the course, accommodation and tools to start work.

I would like to thank Graham my instructor as he was brilliant and gave us all the knowledge of appliances and fault finding needed to be able to go out into the field to do the job Correctly and be Safe while doing so.

He has an absolute wealth of knowledge on domestic appliances and I learned a ton from him. I thoroughly enjoyed the course from start to finish. Gained loads of knowledge about white goods diagnosis, repair and how they work. I came to the course not knowing anything about white good and leaving feeling competent on how to diagnose white goods and how to repair it. The instructor graham really teaches you how to think like an engineer and relates it to the real world. I attended this course on the 9th January 2017 for two weeks. I believe safety is paramount and Graham Mitchell certainly hammers this home all through the course duration.
The course itself was highly informative with "in depth" technical knowledge passed on during two weeks. The practical sessions were not only testing, both physically and mentally but highly enjoyable.
There was a varied range of abilities in the group but everybody was willing to help each other and Graham would only let you struggle for a little while before pointing you in the right direction (nobody was left to struggle on their own). Graham believes in the old adage "if you don't know, ask".
The two weeks flew in and there wasn't a moment when boredom set in(it's not that type of course).
I would highly recommend this course to anyone, whether you're looking for a new career or a change of career, or just wanting to know these appliances work.

Attended 10 day white goods course with Dixon Training and what can I say apart from excellent . Graham,the trainer, was superb. If knowledge is wealth and this guy must be loaded.! The course content was spot on and the tips and tricks of the trade were second to none. If your wanting to learn the ins and outs,this is definitely the place to do it. Highly recommended.
