My daughter and I have had such a wonderful time at Fireflies. We love the forest school ethos and the sessions have been so relaxing and enjoyable. There have been a range of activities on offer each week for us to engage with or we have been able to simply chill out in a hammock or in a camp chair by the fire enjoying our hot drink and snack. It’s been lovely to speak with other families and for my daughter to be able to interact with other children. The team are so friendly and welcoming, always have a smile on their faces! My twins have been going to fireflies forest school sessions for a few seasons now and the confidence I've seen grow in them is amazing.

The forest school leaders are all so fab with the children and really encourage independence and risks where appropriate. All the children seem to really trust and bond with the leaders which is so lovely to see.

If your children love the outdoors and seek adventure then this is most definitely the place for them.

My little girl first started at Fireflies almost two years ago. She loves being outdoors and the staff are so creative with their activities.

Everyone is so friendly and the staff are so caring and kind with the children. The all day holiday sessions are brilliant too.

My 7 year old son has been going to the full day sessions since the summer and totally loves them. He has SEND and I have felt totally comfortable with leaving him there. I discussed his needs ad triggers before his first session and he's always been so happy there. He loves being outdoors and being able to climb trees, make things, and has made friends. I highly recommend the sessions, just be prepared for lots of mud!

We absolutely love fireflies! My daughter has been going for over a year now. She has gained so much confidence with this group, and the relationships she has made with leaders and friends is really nice to see! We joined baby acorns when my little one was 3 months and we have loved the sessions. They follow the forest school ethos and are very chilled; activities to do if we choose or just time to connect with others, our babies and nature…and always a yummy snack too!

A magical place where my 7 year old can just be free to explore the world and safely assert his independence. An inclusive space that accommodated my non verbal, almost 6 year old daughter to the fullest extent, encouraged her to join in and ensured my son didn’t take over his young carer role whilst there together. Highly recommend this forest school team for children of all ages and capabilities.

My children (8&6) went to an October all day session. It was absolutely pouring most of the day but they had the best time. They came home completely covered in mud and asking to go again. They enjoyed all the activities and just being able to have the space to play. Highly recommend the sessions.!
