Heather is absolutely brilliant. She made us feel really comfortable when providing us with training for our Springer spaniel who has been resource guarding.
Heather is very knowledgeable and brilliant at what she does. Our dog is fast learning everything she has taught us to implement.
Would absolutely recommend for anyone having difficulties with their pooch.
Heather also sent us a written down version of the training and has been checking in.

We have started puppy training and the classes are fabulous. Our pup has come on leaps and bounds since joining the sessions. Heather has such a natural affinity with getting the pups to engage, and learn in a positive environment. We have also had a 1:1 with Heather which was amazing, the knowledge she shared has really helped us to boost our pups confidence. We highly recommend Heather’s classes to any new doggy parents. We’ve been to 3 of Heather’s classes with our rescue dog. From puppy class at 10 months old up to the silver award and the training has been amazing. Heather is so patient, encouraging, and always has great tips if something isn’t quite working. We’ve seen our nervous rescue turn into a confident dog. She loved going to class and it’s really helped with the social side. We’ve taken so much away and that one hour a week has helped give us confidence in our day to day training. We would highly recommend Good Dog training for any of your training needs.

I received 1-1 training for my cockapoo puppy with Heather. She helped us to achieve all of our certificates right through to gold. I’m a first time dog owner, so the time I spent with Heather equipped me with all of the knowledge and understanding I needed to raise a happy, healthy, obedient puppy. Heather was wonderful with my puppy, he built up a fantastic relationship with her, and responded marvelously to her training. Meeting Heather in an outdoor environment helped my confidence with letting my puppy off the lead for the first time and also with his recall training.
I would certainly recommend Heather, she is incredibly knowledgeable, reliable, helpful and above all dogs enjoy her training sessions!

We have shared an incredible journey with Heather at Good dog training.
When we first started Jax was aggressive, nervous and it wasn’t pleasant taking him out (he had been attacked several times on the lead) with Heather’s brilliant training I can honestly say he’s a different dog to the one I took to the puppy class and I enjoy taking him out, we hardly have any aggression on the lead and off lead nothing at all, he is a pleasure to take out.
He has gone on to do his platinum award which I never thought would happen. I am so glad I chose Good dog training.

Heather came out today to spend some time with our excitable and a little unruly puppy. Heather was really lovely with us, she explained where we needed to change tact and how to do this. We weren't made to feel like we were 'doing things wrong' but she did guide us how to do things better. Heather came to my home to evaluate me and my reactive gsd. She spent 2hrs with us and in that time gave me a better understanding of what was going off and why and showed me where I'd been going wrong and how to deal with the situations when they happen. Its not always just the dogs fault. I also saw a noticeable difference during that time in my gsd's behaviour. Although it's a work in progress I benefited hugely from Heather's knowledge and experience and have confidence in what she told me and have booked us both on her 8 week bronze course.
