Best gym I've ever been to. Of course there's the awkward moment when you walk into a class for the very first time when you join, but that soon goes as everyone is so welcoming. Never did I think that I would be learning (and absolutely loving) how to do a kipping pull up or enjoy some of the Olympic weightlifting as much as I do...let alone the WODs (workout of the day). Rob and Jenna are amazing coaches....they have helped me no end. Their focus on technique and doing things the right way is part of who they are. I love the classes and it's a lot of fun too, plus the music always adds to a decent atmosphere. Grateful to be a member and be part of the community at GU. Well worth taking a look.

Grand Union is a super CrossFit gym with a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly and supportive bunch of people. The coaching is brilliant. Huge amounts of knowledge, endless encouragement and lots of focus on technique and form. I love being challenged and in every session that’s what I get…always leaving on a high! I’m comfortably pushed (within my limits) and encouraged by the coaches, Jenna and Rob, and there is always a scale for a movement if needed. Because of this, I’ve seen real measurable progress in the year I’ve been a member. Joining as a complete beginner, I was nervous - but this soon dissipated and my confidence grew quickly. I’m now doing movements I never thought I’d be able to do. So wish I’d joined sooner!

Grand Union Crossfit is an amazing and inclusive gym. Rob and Jen have managed to create an amazing community within the gym, and the town itself. I always look forward to attending the classes, and also the social events that are organised outside of the gym schedule. I could not recommend this gym enough.

Jen and Rob are fantastic coaches and because the classes are small it feels like you’re getting personal training I joined around a year ago as a complete beginner and was made to feel really welcome. The structure of the programme means I’ve been able to see improvements across all the exercises over time and I’m feeling much fitter and stronger Best gym I’ve ever been too

Absolutely the best gym in Berko town. Jenna & Rob push you hard but in a comfortable way. I'm running faster and pushing harder than I ever have. But most importantly - the music is great and everyone is so friendly!

I LOVE it here. I hadn't done crossfit before joining about 10 months ago and I can honestly say that I now love going to the gym and actually miss it when I'm on holiday! I'd never really tracked what I'd been doing at the gym before but the six week programmes and app make it so easy to see your progress. My strength and fitness has improved a ridiculous amount and I'm so much more confident and happy in my body than I was when I started. Rob and Jenna are so fantastic and have pushed me to do things I never would have attempted before. Everyone is super friendly and supportive and the small classes mean workouts can be adapted for all abilities, sizes, preggos, you name it, so it really is such an inclusive place. If you're not sure about joining, just join.

Grand Union CrossFit is life-changing! I have been a member for a year and the club has completely changed my perspective on training and fitness. Whilst CrossFit can sometimes appear intimidating, and for people who are very experienced, GU really does offer training for all abilities. The coaches Rob and Jenna fully support you to use different scales and reach your own personal best. There is always lots of fun along the way and you will see progress in so many ways. There are so many benefits such as feeling stronger physically, mentally and working out in a really fun, friendly and supportive group. I have tried many local gyms and never found coaching at the level GU offers- would encourage anyone to give it a go! If anything I wish I had known what a difference being a GU member would make much earlier!

I could write books about how amazing Grand Union is! After years of enjoying fitness but not finding my place I really feel I belong at GU. Everyone is incredibly supportive and friendly and it really does feel like a family! Rob and Jenna are absolutely amazing, inspirational coaches, they really care about everyones individual journeys and make hard work feel exciting! Their great programming means anyone and everyone can join and feel they have achieved something in every class! Going to GU is my favourite part of the day, it not only makes me physically stronger but mentally stronger in day to day life! I could go on and on but if you are thinking of joining I couldn't recommend it enough!!!!!!!
