I had a really good time Phil explained everything although the course was very intensive it was well explained and found it easy to get through it. Phil was an amazing trainer. I would definitely use this centre for future training for my business.

Location fine. Actual course content - pretty shocking. I've been involved with Heat pumps for a few years and had to do this course for work. It was incredibly basic, it didn't really go into much depth on the really important issues around installation of HP's and instead spent time on how to fill in a sheet of paper....Many of the lads were under the impression they would now be able to claim grants and be MCS registered. Unfortunately this is far from the case. It is not really GTEC's fault, whoever is deciding the course content really needs to up their game.

My tutor Tony was the only positive part of this course he was great. The hand book does not link in with the PowerPoint. Powerpoint is all over the place. Quite a lot of contradictory information and no real mention of efficiency at all which seems strange! There is very little useful information from the course. 3 days is far too long it could be 1-1.5 days and still be easy to pass. The exams are 75% to pass and if you don’t get that on the first try you have to start a completely new exam from scratch! You don’t get to know what questions you got wrong! Seems set up for £££ not learning. Based on this course I will not be using GTEC in the future.
