There are no rebookings or refunds with ICE and they would rather take your money and not move you to another date even if you are severely unwell with medical cert.

Genuinely so disappointed in what I had hoped was a reputable institution. I booked 2-3 months ago for a course which I had been looking forward to attending (Australian working in UK) and to experience Cambridge in a different light, I was ill for the 6 days before the course begun and off work. I was hoping I would be better for the course but unfortunately I still had strong symptoms and the travel was going to be too much. I contacted ICE and was advised to send them an email and a doctors note and they can consider rebooking me for the future (as I had seen the doctor multiple times that week for work).

I subsequently received a confirmation there would be no refund and they are not prepared t reschedule me on a future course. Essentially losing £500 of my money for being unwell.

I then asked to cancel an August booking if this is how they treat medical sickness as I would rather undertake a course at a different institution and they advised that there would be no refund here either with their policies in place.

Unsure of the quality of the course but be warned, the service and should something happen, don't expect to receive any assistance or help that you might expect from similar institutions. Bit of a shameful way to operate

Beware! It's a nice venue, and of course, having Cambridge on you CV looks nice, but don't expect a professional, Cambridge-standard education. I joined in 2018 on what was sold as a 3 year course (PGcert, PGdip and MST). We had 2 delays (course ran in 2018, was suspended in 2019, ran in 2020, and was then totally cancelled. The qualification I ended up with (PGdip) isn't of a high enough standard to be accepted onto an alternative masters at another university without completing additional units, so it looks like, after 5 years, I've ended up with a worthless PGdip. I liked my classmates and lecturer, but ultimately it was a waste of £8000 and 5 years. Go elsewhere. ICE is unworthy of the Cambridge name. It's generally a shambles with a total lack of leadership from the top and zero accountability to its students.

I had a truly exemplary experience studying at ICE for many reasons. The tutors are world class and experts in their field. They were so generous with their time and knowledge. As for administration matters, with me being an overseas student, they were seen to seamlessly and any query I had was addressed quickly and professionally. My course director and head of the department put me on the perfect course for my level. I found it both stimulating and challenging. The Diploma at ICE has opened so many doors and opportunities for me to further pursue my passions. Learning at every age is an absolute necessity and the course I was privileged to be accepted on has equipped me with good solid skills from which to grow. I highly recommend pursuing the Creative Writing programmes at ICE Cambridge University. Thank you ICE.
