I had a great experience for my first time to Saks Hair Academy a few days ago. Although the process may take a bit longer than at a "regular" salon, it's more than worth it when you consider the low costs. I even learned quite a bit myself from the experience!
My appointment was with Ellie, a sweet yet professional girl who gave me a very good haircut that I am still happy with a few days after leaving the salon. I highly recommend Ellie, she is attentive and focused and really cares about the work she is doing.

May I compliment Nick and his team at the Maidstone Branch for a great service from the moment you walk in the door. Having visited the salon now for my fifth time and every visit has been a pleasure.
The facilities are good but its how Nick looks after his students and never lets his eye off the ball with all the clients and his students when the have a customer to care for.
Well pleased with the care, detail and the finish. Keep up the good work team and would certainly recommend the salon.

My daughter & I visited and used the FB promo to have a wash,cut & BD. My daughters haircut was fine, however mine wasn't as expected and knew they werent going to redo it all.
The girl I had seemed to be over challenged and missed info on my hair during discussion so therefore used wrong products including the type of blow drying brush.
My daughter was finished and so were the other stylists and I think they wanted me out of the salon.
My hair needed re-washing with the right products and blow drying again.
They forgot about my fringe and just wanted me out the door and the issue with my flat thin hair couldn't be fixed that quick.
I know it's hard as lived with thin hair for years, I use last rinse with colder water, drying hair upside down, many many volume shampoos,conditioners & blowdrying products,big round brushes & velcro curlers so it's not an easy job!
