Cannot recommend enough for young children, families and adults. The instructors are qualified, knowledgeable and professional - taking time to get to know their students and help them get the best out of their training. The AEGIS martial arts system is designed to improve both the physical and mental. It's not all kicks and punches. It's confidence, self worth, focus, respect...

My granddaughter Sophie attends Leeds East and we have seen so many improvements in her confidence, her discipline, and her general well-being since she started. She now recognises that hard work is worthwhile and reaps rewards, but she also understands that new skills do have to be worked at, and don't just 'happen'. The instructors really bring the best out of her and her classmates, being supportive whilst maintaining high standards. Her younger sister is eager to start as soon as she is old enough, because she sees the way in which Sophie enjoys every session, and the happiness that comes from a successful grading ceremony. All in all, we'll done to Leeds East AEGIS Martial Arts Academy.

AEGIS is a fantastic Martial Arts Academy that my son has attended for the past 3 years. It is run by a dedicated and disciplined team who are passionate about all their students development and progression. AEGIS also celebrates student achievement outside of the Academy linking school and club activities with the use of reward stars. Since my son started with the academy his focus has improved as well has his listening skills. Keep up the great work AEGIS.

Everything was running well until I got told our membership was only for one year. I paid £295 and was told my son can take the lessons whenever , at no point were we told it had to be completed in certain time frame!! When I said this I was told it’s in the terms and conditions which I’ve thoroughly gone through and can’t see that anywhere . I would expect if my membership was really coming to an end someone would have had the courtesy to warn us seeing as we still had lots of lessons left not just throw the bomb of we can’t attend any more classes unless we pay another £250!! We have over10 lessons left. My app says we still have 15 they said it’s 10 left , either way it feels like daytime robbery that😡

My son has been coming for just over a year and he loves it. Has really built his confidence in all areas of his life. Instructors are wonderful with the children and explain everything in an age appropriate manner. They are very supportive and communication is first class

Great for every age! I have been at Aegis for nearly a year now. Not only is it great for fitness but also for personal protection and boosting confidence. The trainers are great, firm when they need to be but also very accommodating and helpful.

My son started here over 2 years ago and still loves it. I started just over a year ago and alongside my training within the program, I am also training as CIT to be an instructor. The classes are hard work but extremely enjoyable. There is a great atmosphere on the mat amongst the students. Both my son and I would highly recommend the school to anyone interested in building confidence, self esteem and learning life skills through martial arts.
