Fab riding school/yard. Staff are really lovely, always helpful and willing to give you a hand if needed pre/post lesson. The instructors are all really good, each has a different style so if you don't like how one teaches it can be worthwhile giving another a go. Best riding school locally

Didn't go for a lesson but went to watch the horses go by, it is relatively clean although the upstairs gallery could do a clean as it is quite dusty. If you are going I recommend wearing clothes which you don't mind getting dirty just due to the dusty in the viewing gallery. Apart from that it also has a nice little cafe where you go and have a cup of tea whilst watching the horses go by.

Excellent 'Riding Experience' last week - and many thanks to Suzi for hosting us. I wanted to arrange a riding experience for my partner as a birthday present. Suzi exceled by providing a 2 hour 'groom and ride' session for the two of us - and made the event very personal and very memorable. Huge thanks Suzi!

Fantastic place to learn to ride, keep your hand in, come for a lesson with your own pony or compete. I learnt to ride here 26 years ago and still come for a ride once a week now i now longer have my own pony. They have 2 outdoor schools, 1 indoor school, plenty of offroad hacking and xc course and grass jumping arenas which are available in the summer. Recommend whatever your age and ability

Absolutely fantastic experience. My daughter has only had one lesson so far but had such a great time we have already block booked more lessons. The staff were lovely and the young lady that lead my daughter and her horse was fantastic! So confident and helpful which really put my daughter at ease. They also have a cafe with an indoor viewing area which is great now we are heading into colder weather. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to start riding.

After my children training here for nearly two years, we will not be returning after Management/Owner unprofessional phone call. As the trainer was late to the lesson my daughters saddle was not checked after mounting the pony, which is normally always done. During their group lesson my daughters pony’s saddle slipped sideways and she nearly fell off. When this happened the trainer said to my daughter that the reason that happened was because she was putting to much weight on one side of the saddle. I could see my daughter was upset with this comment as it wasn’t her fault the saddle had slipped and In fact was probably due to not being checked or adjusted after she mounted. After the lesson I spoke to the trainer and said she shouldn’t have blamed my daughter as I could see she was upset and I didn’t want her confidence to be taken away. The following week I booked another lesson even though my daughter didn’t want to book with the same trainer but I received a text the morning of the lesson asking me to call before the lesson. I called the unknown number back and spoke to a lady who I’m guessing was the owner as she didn’t say who she was. Talking about health and safety and insurance, talking down to me and not letting me get a word in. Stating that this trainer was upset and had worked for her for over 10 years and doesn’t lie. Very rude and unprofessional! This lady didn’t want a conversation, not once did she ask me what happened, she wanted to tell me how it was, basically I didn’t know anything about riding and that I can’t have an opinion or speak to her staff. This call was to cover her back even though I hadn’t made a complaint. What I took from this call was that if I didn’t like it to leave so I will not be taking my children back.

Ok so Pro’s - horses are very well cared for and that for me is my number one.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Cons - I’m not sure this is the best place though to send someone with SEN. This is obviously my own personal opinion based on my own personal experience.

I think if your child has complex needs, the staff (although lovely) are not SEN specialists, which is a massive shame as I would very much love to continue bringing my daughter but with no understanding it has resulted in my daughter not progressing at all.
