Our instructor Tony (not ant) was one of the best instructors I’ve ever dealt with. Friendly, knowledgeable, clear and fair. Usually I dread these courses but this one was a pleasure. Mentor came out and did a 2 week instructor course at one of our depots. The instructor (Tony) was a fountain of knowledge who knew exactly how to teach and what needed to be taught. It is quite full on, but he kept asking if we all understood and kept checking in with us every step of the way to make sure we didn't get left behind. Overall excellent service and a great instructor.

I must say I am very disappointed wit Mentor FLT Training. As a long standing customer and part of 13 other companies that require training of all types. I had a very difficult time when I asked for my training of 4 candidates be deferred as the COVID epidemic was going through our company, I must say reluctantly I managed to get Mentor to credit my account.
I Booked the 4 slots in February 2022 and the earliest slots I could get was the end of April and beginning of May 2022. I booked the slots accordingly. 4 days before the very last training slot was due to take place I rang Mentor to see if I could again put this last slot on my account as a credit as the personnel who was due to take the training had handed in their notice. I was refused as I was told it was to short notice (Yet when you call you being quoted 2 month waiting time slots)
I asked what I was to do and the response was " well nothing really you can do if you do not have any one else that can take the slot" I replied by saying so you preferer to send your trainer in to sit in a board room all day between 8am and 5pm without anyone to train ? The reply was "yes". I was absolutely in shock. Very very poor customer service considering how many are desperate for training to take place and unbelievable on the staff consideration side of it Mentor clearly do not care a monkeys about them. I am a bitterly disappointed Director after all the times we have been loyal to this company.

Don’t normally write reviews, but in this instance I think Paul Kilby deserves recognition as I was quite nervous going into this and Paul’s abilities to settle my nerves was amazing… everything I didn’t understand was simplified for me … credit to your company … I’ve spoke to my manager to request we have him again…. I've just finished my weekly counterbalance training. Richard Hyde my instructor was an absolute star, professional, knowledgeable and really helpful all around. We had a week of quality training and I haven't been bored once. I highly recommend Mentor and can't say enough good words about Richard. 5* service.

Cheaper than other FLT companies for a reason. Their trainers appear to be self-employed and there's no guarantee of quality or consistency. Poor customer service and poor training. Avoid at all costs.
