👍 Reviews of Meriden Park

Full of Rubbish. Broken bins. Totally missing bins that never get replaced because the council don't seem to have legs to actually walk around the area. The old lake now a litter infested stream / river along with its smelly stagnant are is frequently used to dump shopping trollies in, along with old bikes traffic cones and all the other junk people have thrown in. Again the council don't seem to care when informed. Try to dodge the dog mess is a new park game there.
Seriously keeping an area clean is not a hard thing to do. Yet somehow Chelmsley wood council and the residents just can't seem to grasp that.

A nice enough park, the lake has been battered off after loads of work done. Park is very run down and in need of investment.

Has enormous potential but maintenance seems to be a real problem. A lake that is so silted up that you can practically walk across it. Trees cut down in the woods and legs left strewn everywhere. Off road and illegal motorbikes tearing up the grass and spraying it all over the footpaths - which never gets cleaned up.
Such a shame.
Parks in the south of the borough do not suffer such neglect. I wonder why?

There were two ducks, but they were in crap water, and the bushes and plants needed TLC. There are trollys scooters, just stuff dumped clearly, not looked after.
