Absolutely brilliant. Get in contact with Sara BEFORE you get your dog / puppy so you’re ready to go from day one.
Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and approachable and has been absolutely brilliant in helping us train our retriever.
We had a 6 session course and same training walks and will definitely be booking some top up sessions.

I really recommend Sara at Mid Devon Dog Training. She has really helped give us amazing guidance with problems we have had with our puppy. We initially did puppy zoom sessions with Sara during lockdown which our puppy loved and it really helped us as first time dog owners. We have come back to Sara again for some follow up training on certain areas we have been struggling with (pulling on lead, recall, jumping up). Sara's knowledge is amazing, she just instantly knows what will work with our puppy and as soon as we try the exercises, the results have been great. Sara has provided worksheets and videos of all the training exercises we need to work on and has even printed them out and dropped them off to us as we don't have a printer! Sara has also been able to take our puppy out for dog walks. This has been really great for us as our puppy is getting a lovely dog walk whilst we are working, but she is also learning loads as this is part of her training. Thank you Sara!

I highly recommend Sara at Mid Devon Dog training. She has worked wonders with our dog! I had an initial consultation with Sara where she got to know our dog and the problems I was experiencing and then I was given clear advice and simple exercises to practise with our dog and the results have been fantastic! After each session I was given a typed report and videos of what I needed to work on which was really helpful and was great to share with the rest of the family so we were all involved in our dogs training. I highly recommend.

I have been amazed at how quickly the simple exercises which Sara gave us made improvement in our dog. Sara came and observed the dog presenting the problem behaviours. She gave us a series of training sessions and then followed up with a full report and detailed instructions. She has visited a total of three times to deal with several behaviours and to see how all members of the family respond to the dog. I would definitely recommend Sara.

Sara was great with our dog. She got to know him and us to come up with a bespoke training plan. She explained everything really well, gave us notes to follow at home and was available to give us support between sessions. Not only did our dog enjoy them, and all the extra sausages he got as part of the process, they’ve really helped and given us all new skills to use. Thank you!

My dog literally can not wait to go for walks with Sara each week.
She takes him to all the best places that make a spaniel, extremely happy.
Sara is awesome with my boy, understands his silly behaviours and never puts him in a situation that would provoke it.
