We did a mushroom foraging course today and found Michael, engaging, knowledgeable and a fabulous chef, as he cooked our mushrooms in garlic butter and served on sourdough bread! Yummy!
I would recommend Michael at the drop of a very wet hat, the weather was against us but didn't stop the fun!! We will be looking for Winter Chanterelle and Parasols from now on that's for sure!!

We had a fantastic day with Michael. Not really knowing what to expect it was extremely interesting and informative.
We learnt so much and had a great lunch and tasting session with our foraged produce.
We have not stopped telling our friends about it. We can’t recommend enough!

Purchased the foraging course for edible fungi for my husband for Christmas last year. Firstly can't believe it's come along so quickly but secondly he has not stopped talking about it since. He had a blast. Cannot more highly recommend. Thank you very much.

Thanks for a fabulous weekend hedgelaying. It was an excellent course, well structured, informative, plenty of clear messages and great sense of achievement. I would highly recommend to anyone. I have since started contacting other organisations to see if I can gain more experience.

The wild mushroom foraging course was perfect - a walk through beautiful woodland with Michael sharing his huge wealth of knowledge with us. Despite the unseasonably warm weather we found a wide variety of edible mushrooms and also touched on several poisonous and medicinal varieties too. The morning ended with Michael cooking our haul over his open fire for us and they were absolutely delicious. He's a great cook as well as forager! Couldn't recommend the course more, I left with bags of confidence about identifying wild mushrooms and can't wait to get foraging.

I did the mushroom foraging course with my partner in early October and it was probably the most fun I've had walking through a forest that I can remember. Michael is such a warm and knowledgeable guy, and was great at getting us all involved in learning about fungi, as well as spotting them. I was amazed at how many different species of mushroom we found on the day, and there was enough for us to all sample them at the end. Could not recommend highly enough!

Michael is extremely generous, welcoming and knowledgeable. After his course, we feel confident enough to identify and forage tasty and safe mushrooms that have been readily available amongst the leaves on our walks for years! He really took the time to listen and respond to questions, and led us on a wonderful ramble around a beautiful woodland, rounding the day up with a delicious mushroom meal cooked on an open fire beneath the trees, from a basket brimming with the day's finds!
